Problems would come when one wrestler finds out somebody else has a piece of the company and they don’t. If it’s the Bucks or Kenny, maybe Mox, sure. If it’s. Cody, the question is why didn’t Tony buy him out when he left.

But if Mone’ or Okada or Punk have shares, you’re going to have a lot of long timers who become unhappy campers that they didn’t get offered a piece of the action.

We were talking about WBD owning a stake.

I honestly don't care if wrestlers have a stake or not especially if we're talking Jericho, Kenny, Bucks, Cody. If people like Mercedes, Okada, or Punk have a stake in the company, good for them they had leverage and they used it. Anyone upset about it either didn't have the stones or leverage to get a stake.

Honestly who cares, even if it’s owned by Tony Khan, Shadid Khan, and WB what difference would that honestly make ?

It kills the narrative that Tony is totally doing this by himself.

If WB owns some of AEW, it could change a lot given they may be sold. It would be a lot like WCW and why they went out of business was because the parent company to WCW merged with another one as a minority partner in the merge which the majority partner dumped WCW.

I am assuming it's not the same thing here given that Time Werner got the majority of WCW and I doubt Tony or Shadid have give up a majority of AEW but it would be interested if WBD do own some of AEW and how that may effect them if WBD is sold/merged

Makes sense, just highly doubt it would affect them unless they owned majority of the company
