If that happens expect the ratings to fall drastically if that is even possible
OC is one of the core reasons with his superman booking why they lost so many viewers the last couple of years.
Seriously?! I thought Orange Cassidy was a fan favorite before he got injured? I always felt like Orange Cassidy and Mark Briscoe with the Conglomerate were babyface fan favorites all around.

So I'm supposed to believe the guy who is over with every crowd in every arena and in every city is a core reason for ratings declining?
So then please explain how when he was the International/AAC champ, his title defenses were retaining viewership and or slightly growing viewership as evidenced by the QHs?

As much as I'd love it, timing is everything and the timing isn't right. I think OC should be kept in the upper mid card/upper card in the meantime and when MJF finally gets his strap back, TK should run MJF VS OC for the World Title as a match between them has been a long time coming IMHO.
IMO it doesn't even necessarily need to be a PPV match, could be built as a big TV defense. But both guys are great in ring talents and both know how to entertain the audience and keep the audience eating out of the palm of their hands.

When he went out, I had Orange Cassidy fatigue. I think Mark Briscoe is filling his niche better than Orange Cassidy did. I also preferred OC in the midcard where he was not so serious. I think Orange Cassidy is best used in a role where people question whether what he is doing is wrestling. Whereas, last few years, he has mostly been a generic cruiserweight wrestler, with a pockets spot, since they're trying to push him as a serious wrestler. He even had a depression arc...
When it comes to being a babyface fan favorite, I feel like Orange Cassidy and Mark Briscoe are top tier right now. What if Tony Khan were to pull a Jey Uso type angle and have a shocking surprise of someone unexpected winning the AEW championship like Orange Cassidy or Briscoe? As much as I would love to see a new face as champion? I don't think Briscoe or Cassidy has THAT big of support to where they wouldn't cause backlash.

He’s boring, hasn’t evolved, bland, and has been around the main event scene and often involved in main event feuds for like 3 years ago. He should be having “fuck off” heat.
