So Hardys & Zay VS All Ego/The Gunns will be on the preshow. Thought maybe it might get slotted as a cool down match but pre show is where it fits best.

card looks seriously underwhelming. MJF stands out like a sore thumb against those 3 guys. MJF looks like a main event level guy while the rest of them are all midcard jobbers. FTR vs jarret is terrible no one wants to see that

Jeff Hardy in Las Vegas? Now that's a stress test.

Isaiah is injured now and will be replaced by HOOK.
Im looking forward to NOC more than DON quite honestly.

AEWs product is so lacklustre, boring and uncreative right now and the BCC/Elite feud is a bit overrated also imo

Im not optimistic things will get better leading into forbidden door and up and till All in either.

I ended up purchasing all the AEW PPVs this year. All in isn't included for some reason, not that I'm fussed since I'll be there

Probably the least hyped I've been for an AEW ppv but they always deliver in ring and this shouldn't be any different, it's just the build has been pretty meh and last nights go home show didn't really hit with me

If Stat comes back and immediately wins the title from Jade this will get a thumbs up. I said at the very start that putting the belt on her was a huge fuck up and nobody listened. I thought it would be a disaster but not even in my worse nightmare did I think her reign would be this bad

It’s called a midcard!

Jay White can end the greatest title run in AEW history. Jay might even get to injure him while he’s at it.

It is really more of a benchmark than it is a pre-existing standard that nobody has passed yet. It’s a technicality that won’t become a true milestone until AEW can have more than Cody’s first TNT Title and Miro’s TNT run. Maybe count Omega’s AEW World Title reign as well.

The ONLY way White should be in this match is if he's winning it. He automatically would make the title a legit deal. He should NEVER be getting eliminated like a geek but he is because Khan sucks at every fucking thing humanly possible.

Card looks so fucking weak. What the hell happened to AEW. Especially compared to the cards they use to have.

"While speaking with sources inside AEW regarding the upcoming Double or Nothing PPV this weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada one of the topics discussed was the “Four Pillars” Match for the AEW World Championship. Sources relayed to me that the creative person responsible for writing the storyline for the entire “Four Pillars” World Championship program has been none other than AEW World Champion MJF."

Never let MJF near the book again. If true. 👀
I think the way the feud has been structured has been fine and would've been better received if Sammy or Jungle Boy were better on the mic
WrestleTix says tickets are at around 10,000 distributed now. They did a four for $40 deal which surely helped, but I imagine there have been a fair few comps to places like VetTix.

This is interesting as it makes it an eight match card, the same as Revolution, but Revolution had the Iron Man Match (does Anarchy in the Arena go 40+ minutes?). TK obviously took criticism to heart over past marathon PPVs.

DoN 2022 had 12 matches and ran for 4 hours, 38 minutes.

Swerve vs. Keith Lee was penciled in for this PPV and I'd guess Jay White vs. Starks was at some point. Now both feuds play out in the battle royal. Keith Lee vs. Swerve started with Swerve's slap at Full Gear 2022 so is now in its sixth month and has mostly been playing out on Rampage.
So had a thought. Jericho vs Adam Cole is unsanctioned so would that happen after the 'main event', just like the lights out matches we have had in the past.

I would say thats the specific reason they’re not calling it “Lights Out”, because if they did it would have to close the show based off previous logic. On this show it’ll probably be in the middle of the show or towards the end, but not the closer.

I read that only around 7.5K were paid though. Can you verify?
Which pillar are you guys most excited about seeing dethrone MJF?

Will be the same person that dethrones Roman Reigns

This is his info:

AEW: Double or Nothing
SUN MAY 28, 2023 – 4:00 PM
T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas NV

Available Tickets => 1,532
Current Setup => 11,641
Tickets Distributed => 10,109

Estimated Paid => 8,000

He thinks some of the nosebleed seats have been comped and there's a restaurant nearby offering tickets if you buy a meal.

Anyway, this should teach Tony a lesson that you have to focus on your marquee names in the big matches, until you can develop young guys into ticket-sellers themselves.

Elite vs. BCC will be awesome, but having Omega, Hangman, the Bucks, Danielson and Moxley all in one 4v4 match feels almost wasteful given they are some of AEW's best ticket sellers.

Had they held off Omega vs. Mox in the cage and done an Elite vs. BCC double header of Omega vs. Mox (cage) and Hangman vs. Danielson IV, with Bucks vs. Claudio/Yuta earlier in the card, it would've been a much more appealing on-paper card.
