I definitely want to see MCMG v FTR in a 2 v 2 match. If AEW stops jobbing out the heel tag teams so much, we could have a really good tag division. Butcher and The Blade are legit good and should be utilized much better than they are. 2.0 are great heels as well but I dont believe have ever won a match on Dynamite. Rush and Vance should be a threat. Christian and Luchasaurus can be a tag team. Josh Woods and Tony Neese are actually good wrestlers but have been just treated as jobbers. Gates of Agony should be dominating their opponents. AEW doesnt need to make new heel teams, they need to use the ones they have better.
This will be Triple J's fourth shot at the gold this year, which again highlights the lack of strong heel teams in the tag division. They need to put together some heel teams who are credible enough to challenge and maybe win the tag belts. FTR themselves are better heels IMO, but it wouldn't make sense to turn them right now. Maybe a frustration angle after they lose the belts.
Perhaps after this, they could run back the All Out 2022 angle of Lethal bringing in the MCMG and having them face FTR this time 2v2 instead of 3v3. Two of the best tag teams of the last 20 years.

The 6 man was agreed to but no date was set. Could happen on Dynamite or Rampage before the PPV or they could save it for the PPV and keep the Gunns VS Hardys for a short televised program after the PPV.
TK is taking forever to announce a card that we already know what will look like.Latest numbers. Numbers stalled out hard in the last month or two.
My exact thoughts. DON is usually seen as one of the bigger PPV's of the year but with everything lined up this summer its kind of been forgotten about.With the new media rights coming, Collision, Punk's return, Forbidden Door, and All In coming, Double or Nothing at this point feels like the red headed stepchild, filler PPV before everything. Only having 2 matches officially announced less than 2 weeks before the PPV doesn't help matters either. The show I'm sure will deliver as most AEW PPVs do, but the lack of hype going into this show is understandable.
