I get AEW basically everyone is a tweener but Adam Cole in his current feud with Jericho he’s supposed to be a fan favorite and I dont understand why. It be different if Jericho was supposed to be the face in this feud because he can pull it off but their is really nothing likable about Adam Cole. His whole face screams jerkoff and punch me. It’s hard to get into this feud with jericho because chris jericho is in heel mode and i find it impossible to like adam cole as a face. I mean what’s likable about him?

He's extremely resilient. Can take a lot of brutal punishment and won't stay down. He's very similar to early HBK where he'd take a beating most of the match, hit a couple of moves and get the surprise win. And somebody get him some tights. He needs to lose those little trunks.I don't care about Cole's body type, but this is a bad argument. First off, Rey is faster, more agile, and more athletic than his opponents, plus he's a luchador, that's how he wins. That being said, he is, and has always been marketed as an underdog, while Cole is supposed to be main event level, but there's no standout ability for him to be showcased in the ring. He's not stronger or bigger, not a better a wrestler, not more technical, not faster, not smarter, not a better striker, etc. than his opponents. Or if he is, we definitely haven't been shown that as viewers. He just usually wins, because why not. There's not much to him in regards to the physical side of pro wrestling, and I'm saying this as someone who likes Adam Cole purely based on his mic work, charisma, and entrance.
Sure, he looks like a midget, put that aside. His personality Is average at best. I think people are obsessed with this one collection of underdogs from this era and the nxt underdogs.

Adam Cole isn't good because he's 150lbs but doesn't work like a guy who is 150lbs, which makes him a terrible worker. He'd be fine as a heel manager
