Adam Cole isn’t good as a babyface.
I get AEW basically everyone is a tweener but Adam Cole in his current feud with Jericho he’s supposed to be a fan favorite and I dont understand why. It be different if Jericho was supposed to be the face in this feud because he can pull it off but their is really nothing likable about Adam Cole. His whole face screams jerkoff and punch me. It’s hard to get into this feud with jericho because chris jericho is in heel mode and i find it impossible to like adam cole as a face. I mean what’s likable about him?

I think he's a good babyface personally. The crowds love him too. He seems like a likeable guy in real life.
He's much better suited in this role as opposed to being a heel. As a heel its not really believable for him to dominate the babyface in any given match because of his size, but as a babyface its believable if he plays the underdog "come back from behind" type role that works for Darby, Rey Mysterio, or anyone else who's small.

Adam Cole seems fine as a face to me. I prefer him as a face right now than a heel because the fans have been behind him for a long time. He could do the most heelish thing and the crowd would still chant his name. Plus he is openly a genuinely nice guy off TV, which they showed on All Access.

Think the feud has been rather lackluster. The apex of the feud feel pretty flat with Britt Baker being ahem absolutely slaughtered with a few kendo stick shots. Doesn't really work in a promotion that has had women bleeding from hardcore matches numerous times. They should have allowed Jericho to take a shot at her if they really wanted heat. Add in Roderick Strong randomly facing Jericho after 1 interaction and it becomes a question of why they had Jericho being beaten going into the big match after Cole cost him the match [Pretty much already a form of comeuppance].

No, it doesn’t work, because HE doesn’t have an offense that works for his lack of size. He is slower and less athletic than his bigger opponents, not as strong, doesn’t utilize a kick-heavy striking system, doesn’t use technical mat-based submissions, etc.I think he's a good babyface personally. Adam Cole fucking sucks at everything, except having a really good entrance song that panders to live audiences. Get this fucking guy off tv and out of important roles.

Meh, put her in the Walls of Jericho. It wouldn’t be that big of a deal except maybe to hardcore feminist groups that would whine about anything. Alternative would have just not having Britt involved to begin with.

I think he's a good face because he's a good person. I just still can't buy him as a serious world title threat, because he's both small and skinny. Small and built is fine (PAC), even tall and skinny (ZSJ) to some degree. His appearance is off-putting which is a shame because he has charisma, mic skills and some good in-ring work (even if his style isn't my fav).
