A way to give Heyman some authority...

I've seen a lot of forums this past month or so asking people who they want to be the next GM. I'd say one of the most popular choices was Paul Heyman, despite the fact that this is admittedly unlikely for obvious reasons. But I reckon there could be a way to at least bring him into the GM picture.

Here's my idea. Brock Lesnar, Heyman's long time client, accepts HHH's challenge to a match at SummerSlam on one condition. This condition would be a stipulation announced by Paul Heyman himself: if Lesnar was to beat HHH, Vince McMahon will have to sell the WWE over to Paul Heyman to make up for HHH escaping court.

Too extreme. A little on the ridiculous side. I wouldn't be (completely) against (I fucking hate heel GMs) that concept.

Maybe tweak it from "The WWE changing hands" because that's just too far-fetched. Maybe to something like HHH has to strip Hornswagglinator as the GM (or whoever the fuck's the GM) and give it to Heyman.

I was gonna put GM but that would still mean that Heyman would be working for HHH.
General Managers are one of the most overplayed, repetitive and boring concepts in pro wrestling today. No need for them tbh and no need for them to be on TV every week hogging up time that could be used for the wrestlers themselves. So I say no (Y)
I approve, Heyman would be a great authority figure. The angle needs a little tweaking though.

True. I guess maybe Heyman could say he wants to take HHH's place AND as GM.
here is my idea-for brock lesnar to agree and fight with hhh and paul heyman to drop his lawsuit against hhh,the board of directors have to make him general manager of smackdown.
Since Heyman is more of a long term situation than Brock Lesnar I could see Heyman/HHH's relationship completely doing a 360 a whole year from now. Who knows maybe this is something that will turn out to be something that these two men planned all just to have Vince finally sell his share of the company completely over to them. As Heyman already pointed out they are both very intelligent people who know the business. I wouldn't be surprised to see Heyman not only as the permanent GM of both shows, but also the Head of Talent relations, and also as a member of the board of the WWE.

yep, pretty much this
I'm cool with Heyman as GM, as long as they don't promote him to Chief Financial Officer.
Great idea!!!

Could be easily pulled off with a confrontation in the middle of the ring.

Hunter, look what you've cost me, the entire company, we gotta give the guy what he wants, you've cost me everything. Vince stays off tv.

Or Vince sides with Hunter, Hunter, give him his due, his (add some Vince words here) mind is almost as good as mine. The paperwork is in order, we'll give him the company for now, I've got the legal team working on this non stop, if there is a loophole, we'll find it.
