Now, I'm not saying this is remotely likely to happen. In fact, I don't think I would want it to happen. But as we know, The Rock will be at WrestleMania 32. And I'm pretty sure he will be having a match, as his announcement on Instagram felt like too much of a big deal if he was planning just to be there in a 10-minute segment.
And if he is in fact having a match, I can see only two possible opponents for him: Triple H and Brock Lesnar. They could even be thinking a big surprise and book a Roman Reigns vs. The Rock match, but they're not gonna do that because they want Reigns to be the babyface.
Roman Reigns is currently feuding with The Authority, and everything points to a match with Triple H at WM 32. However, that would mean that HHH would have to win the Royal Rumble which would suck. And besides, at this moment I think the favorite to win the Royal Rumble is Brock Lesnar.
So they could do Reigns vs. Lesnar II, but that would be tricky because Reigns would get booed. There are two options now: Reigns vs. Brock and Rock vs. HHH, or Reigns vs. HHH and Brock vs. Rock.
However...what if their plan is to combine these two? Have Brock win the Rumble, have Rock resume his feud with HHH, but instead of it being just two singles matches, it could be one tag match. Roman Reigns and his cousin The Rock vs. Triple H and his mercenary beast Brock Lesnar. It could be a No Holds Barred stip where, if HHH and Brock win, Brock gets the WWE belt due to his Rumble victory.
Reigns and his cousin, side by side, back to back, to battle the Cerebral Assassin and THE BEAST, THE CONQUEROR, BRRRRROCK LLLLLESNNARRR in a tag team match where anything goes, No Countouts, No Disqualifications.
Reigns wouldn't even have to speak, The Rock would be his mouthpiece and would have verbal sparring contests with Paul Heyman.
