A Pitch Has Been Made in WWE for Asuka to Turn Heel in Her Feud With Bianca Belair

It was reported today by PWInsider that there has been a pitch to turn Asuka heel and there has been talk about Asuka challenging Bianca Belair for the Raw Women's Championship at Night of Champions.
At the moment, there is no word on if the heel turn will happen but if there's a pitch for a match against Belair at Night of Champions, then it seems likely to happen because babyface vs. babyface feuds are rare in WWE. Asuka wrestled and lost to Belair at WrestleMania and during the build-up they hinted at Asuka going down a darker path.
In other roster news...Internally, WWE has listed Edge, Bobby Lashley, AJ Styles, Sheamus, Rey Mysterio, and Santos Escobar as the top babyfaces on the SmackDown roster.
The top SmackDown heels are listed as Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, Austin Theory, Karrion Kross, LA Knight, and Grayson Waller. There are "free agents" that have yet to be assigned to a specific brand.

It's actually more likely she wins now, because the record has already been broken. Plus, it's not WrestleMania, and as we know, Asuka is never allowed to win at WrestleMania. They don't have a reason to not have Asuka win, other than "We don't like Asuka". That's their only reason. Do I think she'll beat Bianca? Of course not, but the odds of now vs WrestleMania are dramatically better. I will say, though, if she's planned to win the title, it would explain her reaction after WrestleMania when she was laughing at everyone who was telling her to quit the company. If she already knew that she would win the title later on, then that would make complete sense. Of course I also believe that that's just.....her.
Also, if you had Asuka win, then you could solve the issue with the Raw/SmackDown womens title by just having Asuka win and then trading Asuka back to Raw for Rhea Ripley to SmackDown, and then you can have your Rhea/Bianca match at SummerSlam. That would also allow them to do the Asuka/Ronda Rousey match that they've never done (which Ronda has wanted for a while).

I would hope to God that they don't care about doing it with any title. Also, they've just signed a black female gold medalist, and if Bianca breaks the record for longest reigning black champion of any kind, inevitably when that girl comes up to the main roster, they're gonna want her to break Bianca's record, and fuck, here we go again, then she's gotta waste time and hold it even longer.
At what point do these records just become a bunch of stupid shit that somebody made up? They can't do these records forever, it's hurting the show. I mean, they can, but it's an active detriment and it's pretty obvious.
