1. His theme is not identifiable. Who was the last WWE champ with music as generic as his? When he interrupted HBK last week, it took me 3 or 4 seconds to process whose music it was. There"s nothing even remotely unique about it.

2. What's his finisher? He's not allowed to use the curb stomp anymore, so he uses the pedigree. Is that his permanent finisher now?

These are 2 things that are really holding him back imo.

With regards to #2 , using the pedigree is more a character/storyline thing to illustrate his alliance to the authority and to show that he is Triple H and Steph's guy. It is not permanent and as soon as he distances himself from the authority he'll use another finisher.

As for the Pedigree, it's really a storyline thing to push the fact that he is Triple H's protege. He'll ditch it when he ditches The Authority. I don't know what he'll use afterwards but probably the Phoenix splash.

Well when you hear those opening machine-gun guitar bursts, you know straight away that it's Seth. I'd say that's good enough (although I guess it could be tweaked a little bit more I guess).

It's like Brock's music - generic as hell, but when you hear the beginning, you know shit is gonna go down.

I'm beginning to think that's never going to happen though and that Rollin's going to end up being stuck with the pedigree as a finisher for the rest of his WWE career as a result of the authority angle never going away.

Rollins has the best theme out of anybody noteworthy to debut within the last few years, besides Wyatt. That double bass breakdown is dope

I don't like him using the pedigree though, i think that's pretty much unanimous. Although I highly doubt he'll continue using it into the future, especially after a face turn..They really screwed him over by banning the curb stomp.

Why do you think it is never going away? As things stand right now it seems to be nearing the end of it's course. The authority has been gradually losing members as Seth's time as a champion has progressed and he has proved himself to Triple H and Steph. As they said there was nothing left to do but to find some other challenger. When Seth loses the belt you can easily see them turning on him.

They really screwed him over by banning the curb stomp.

Not just by banning the curb stomp but as a heel most of his best move set (he is a natural babyface) in the ring he can't use either.

Or they'll just find another guy, Sheamus probably and recycle the storyline for a second time. They already have turned on Seth more times than you can count, just like how they continually cut Orton down when he was their champ.

His music sucks, but what's special about Rollins is he still get's a big reaction when his music hits.. That's not easy to do with shitty music. He does need a finisher of his own though, i guess he can adopt the Pedigree, but how long will that really last if he's feuding with Triple H soon?.. He needs something else. He can't do the Pedigree for his whole career.
