6 week build for HIAC!

When's the last time there was a 6 week build up to a PPV? I like the idea if they utilize it right and build up some great feuds.

Big IF bro.

Does give them plenty of time to build decent feuds for Barrett and Sandow especially seeing as they aren't on this PPV. Doubt they'll bother though, why waste time on the two most promising younger guys they have when they can build to Del Rio vs Sheamus rematch number 14? :vince

I never noticed that before. Hopefully it has much better build than in the past.

Still not cool that Survivor Series is only three weeks after HIAC, though.

hope they stop this Del Rio vs Sheamus or Cena vs CM Punk .. for the title .. give the other wrestlers a "chance" to go for it

Sheamus loses the title to Del Rio .. and then straight after the match Ziggler comes in cashes in wins then a Triple Threat Match is made for HIAC

I love it! HIAC matches NEED buildup, not just 1-2 weeks of bullshit. I'm guessing this is going to mark the end of the Cena/Punk(for now) and Del Rio/Sheamus feuds. I actually wouldn't mind seeing those two matches as the HIAC matches, AS LONG AS they build it up superbly, as well as marking them the end of these feuds.

wan't it like 2 seconds last year? or 2 weeks? It wasn't even that bad, thanks to Mark Henry. but, this is a good break out time for a monstrous heel turn, or having punk win with Brock interference.

its really sad that this shit PPV is getting 6 week buildup while Survivor Series will only get 3 weeks. they should buildup up for SS in the process during that 6 weeks if they were smart

^ i think 6 weeks will be enough to build some feuds up for Survivor Series too. They won't need more then 3 weeks after HIAC to build up for Survivor Series.

And this is awesome news, 6 weeks of Punk/Cena before their match at HIAC? Great.

I like it, if they want to create a feud where a HiaC match is appropriate they need time. Punk/ Cena could easily be there within that time, the WHC scene, maybe. Any other match could also benefit from extended time, it'd make a change from recently where non-world title matches were announced the week before.

On a tangentially related note I'd like a Tornado tag match title match just cause they did it a lot in RvSD 2011 and it fits in sort of with the intensity theme of HiaC.

Yeah but it could work, if they use HIAC as like a sub-ppv to build up to Survivor Series.

Yeah, and there was also another PPV around that time as well, I think Vengeance.

Personally, I'd prefer Vengeance > Hell in a Cell as a PPV, but I'd prefer there to be no PPV between NOC - SS to build up a great Survivor Series. 6 weeks is a good amount of time to build up a PPV though, so that's good. Let's see if WWE utilizes it properly.

This. I would hope that they just start building some of the undercard feuds for Survivor Series early (as they can be inserted into Traditional Survivor Series Matches), and it would add more to the ten man tag matches IMO... Glad they have some distance between NoC and HiaC though. Six weeks seems like a better amount of time to build to a HIAC Match (instead of just throwing whoever is feuding in their). Though next year they will have Over The Limit between NoC and HIAC.....

HIAC is very very weak ppv i think they show make some gud fued btw us champ and ic champ and please not again cena vs punk give other stars also some chance to show i would love to watch fatal 4 way or triple thread match and i hope zag will cash the breafcase soon

they better because more people care about SS than HIAC. it is the 4th main PPV of the WWE behind Mania, Royal Rumble, & SummerSlam.

This 6 weeks would be a good time to build the lower card & mid card. We know Cena, Punk, Sheamus, Ziggler, ADR, Bryan, & Kane will get their time. The others should get theirs during this time period.
