i'm hoping they've prolonged the gunner/storm fued because they want to keep storm relevant until roode/ray angle is over and then reunite beer money, rather than come up with something new whilst storm waits theyre just sticking to whats been good before! be worth it in the long run if im right and it leads to beer money

The Storm vs Gunner match is useless for this PPV. Even if Storm wins he won't look strong and it'll comes off as a consolation as he has lost so many times already. If Gunner wins it'll mean fuck all as he's already beaten the guy twice and had nothing to prove.

Anyway, I remember someone made a thread a few weeks ago saying how the Sacrifice card was set, yeah, so much for that. :banderas

and then you'd be complaining that the card came out of no where and there was no build for the PPV
It wouldn't be out of nowhere if they built up to it somehow (other than giving us the match repeatedly). Rayne/Love have wrestled already, Ray/Roode have put each other through tables already (it's been a weekly occurrence for awhile now), Gunner has beaten Storm clean numerous times and avenged his father already. They built these matches... by essentially giving us these matches.

What else can they really do anyways? Joe/Young for the title (seen it), Magnus/Abyss, Anderson/Shaw (seen it), Tigre Uno/Sanada (seen it), Bromans/Wolves (seen it), Angle & Willow/EC3 & Spud, that's about it.

Yeah, TNA backed themselves into a corner with this PPV. A portion of this PPV happened on this past Thursday's Impact. TNA should of really tried to get this PPV for August where it is needed, not a month after Lockdown.

A tables match on a PPV? Bullshit.

How much do TNA pay per views cost?

Because you gotta figure that the WWE network would put some pricing pressure on TNA.

And you could make the argument that pay per views were too expensive BEFORE that.

Well...They had six weeks to build something for the PPV so maybe if they put some effort in they could have a fresh card that DIDN'T come out of nowhere?

Crazy concept I know. 6 weeks is more than enough time to build to a PPV though.

John Gaburick has to be the worst booker in TNA history. His damn feuds keep going and going without any anything interesting happening.

Why do we have to have another damn table match between Bully and Roode? Why can't they just fight one on one in the ring?

Also between Storm and Gunner, it's obvious Gunner will never say "I Quit!".

Gaburick adores gimmick matches. If you tune into Impact you're likely to see at least one every week. For example, last week was a Gauntlet match. The week before was a Straight Jacket match and an "exhibition match"

What that leads to is TNA constantly having to top itself, same issue ECW had in it's later years.

Difference was ECW managed to succeeded in toping themselves. With TNA it wasn't even shocking the first time Roode faced Bully in a table match. Even when Roode threw Bully into three tables, I said this in another thread, it looked fake and it was more brutal seeing HHH beat Bryan up on RAW, using no objects than anything that was in the Roode-Bully bout. Trash matchs do not have the same effect anymore.

The intended logic behind the match is there, the problem with the feud has largely been the mishandled execution.

The payoff is obviously supposed to be Bully Ray putting Bobby Roode through a table, but the entire feud started by Bully Ray putting Bobby Roode through a table! Only in TNA do you start a feud with the payoff.
