Re: 2 for the price of 1 ticket offer being done for Extreme Rules.
Portland is one thing (wrestling history aside) for Stomping Grounds. This is Philadelphia for Extreme Rules. A city that is metropolitan with tons of wrestling fans with a well-known history. On top of Undertaker doing a match for this event.
This is a huge problem. The fact that they have to stoop to these levels just for aesthetic reasons is bad. The product is cold AF right now. They have little to no buzz. They better hope to fix this or else it simply will get worse.
Rollins is not even close to the best pro wrestler in the world in the ring, lol. You need to see some New Japan, that's how pro wrestlers wrestle. Rollins is wrestling that soft, overproduced WWE play style. We'll see where he is if he ever leaves (certainly not the best, Okada and Omega and Ishii alone wipe the floor with him), but he seems entrenched in the bubble.....and why wouldn't he be? He'd be a fool to leave when he gets paid top dollar to have no accountability. It's not his responsibility as a top star in WWE to draw like it would be anywhere else in the world.
Even if he was, who cares? In ring wrestling is worthless, that doesn't draw flies to shit. Nobody's interested in seeing in ring work with no entertainment behind it. He has no charisma, he's garbage on the mic, he's annoying as hell and he's boring. You're damn right I support Wyatt. Character matters. I realize a Balor fan doesn't know what character is, so this is falling on deaf eyes, but I assure you this is a massively important part of the business that has been abandoned and forgotten and it's precisely why the wrestling business finds itself as unpopular as it has ever been. When wrestling actually drew money and filled arenas, acts like Bray Wyatt were the norm.
Rollins didn't become bad with this program with Lacey, Becky and Corbin. He's been bad the entire time. The program has nothing to do with my distaste for him. He simply isn't good enough for his spot.
Roman, Drew, Balor and Corbin are all crap. None of them have any value, they all fit the same cookie cutter Vince mold of pushing somebody for their look and not because they have an ounce of ability to do the job of a pro wrestler, which is to make people want to buy tickets to see you. Those are four of the names responsible for why the arenas have tarp over 75% of the seats. No one of them are appreciably better than the other 3, they're all awful.
What's next? I'm scared you're gonna tell me AJ Styles is the best worker only behind Rollins. Genuinely terrified of some of the views I've just heard...
Well first of all I would never put AJ on the same level as Rollins, that is just insanity. By the time Rollins reaches his 40s he'd probably be in the GOAT conversation. Can't say the same about AJ.
And second, you are highly mistaking if you think Rollins has no character and is shit on the mic. I can pull out 100 different promos from the his last months in The Shield and when he turned heel (2014-2016) where he owns whoever is in the ring with him on the mic and the crowd eats up every bit of it. That takes skills, that takes charisma. If he was a talentless indy dork he would've never gotten over with today's peaky as shit fans. I mean C'mon they've booked the dude the worst way they possibly can and put him against shit bag opponents time after time but he still manages to make something out of it.
Not gonna lie Rollins right now reminds of me Punk back in 2012 when he had to work with John Laurinaitis and Big Show in dog shit programs. Dude still managed to make something out of those shit feuds and still be relevant with the fans as a champ.
I don't see no difference with Rollins either. Let's not forget this man carried the company on his fucking back through the entire 2015 year and produced excellent match after excellent match. Bray hasn't done jack shit compare to Rollins.
Yeah that is true. Its probably the second biggest ppv of the year behind Wrestlemania. That's cool cause if WWE were doing things like this for Royal Rumble then id really be worried for WWE
Re: 2 for the price of 1 ticket offer being done for Extreme Rules.
To bad to see this but it speaks to the state of the WWE right now. Hope with Heyman and Bischoff being around things get better and the need of tarp becomes non existent.
Brother you support Wyatt but don't think SETH ROLLINS is worthy of getting a push?? Dude is probably the best active pro wrestler in the world as far as in ring performance goes. Plus he's already a veteran of the game and has established himself as a legit star over the past few years.
It's not his fault they've put him in a shit program with 3 other people he has no business being in the ring with.
And btw any 1 of Roman, Balor or Drew is a far better and credible rival for Rollins than Baron Corbin.

Everything you said was spot on but the bolded is particularly true.
WWE have dumped cold water on hot angles so many times in the last five years that even trying to get excited for something seems pointless because WWE fucking it up, whether by accident or on purpose, is pretty much a given.
WWE has lost all credibility with even their most devout long standing fans.
Well this is what happens when you have Seth Rollins and Becky vs Corbin and Lacey. Lacey isn’t known enough to be in This main event spot and Corbin is just boring. I like kofi but not with the title. The. The undertaker match is just a waste of time with no story except that undertaker came to help Roman.
Re: 2 for the price of 1 ticket offer being done for Extreme Rules.
Stomping Grounds was a terribly named rematch city D lister that was going to run in San Diego but was switched to Tacoma, Washington. It had everything going against it. Don't get me wrong, its pathetic that every major belt in the company was on the line and they did BOGO and papered the event and TARP went over EVERYBODY, but its Tacoma. Whatever.
To desperately trot out the Undertaker and do ticket discounts for a PPV in PHILLY?! You gotta be joking me, that's pathetic.
Re: 2 for the price of 1 ticket offer being done for Extreme Rules.
how long before wwe is giving away that horrendous "I'm the man's man" T shirt for free with each purchase.
speaks volumes though that they are willing to give 50% of the seats away for nothing just so they don't have to sheet the place down. How depressing them, downright hilarious for everyone else.
So now were complaining that they are selling the cheaper seats with a buy one get one free. A savings to the fans, especially for people taking families.
The PPV prices are outrageous, especially when you can stay at home and watch on a big screen for 9.99, or free. Theres just no fucking way people are gonna pay that.
