ROH has 4 ippvs,

9th Anniversary
Death Before Dishonor
glory By Honor
Final Battle

they have enough annual shows to make a monthly format of it

Manhattan Mayhem
Supercard Of Honor
Survival Of The Fittest
Caged
Motor City Madness
Proving Ground
Homecoming
Eye Of The Storm
Tag Wars

Good god no.

I guess you gained nothing from the lessons from their DVD business.
Part of what makes ROH so awesome is the fact that they have 2-4 months to build a PPV and adding more could potentially be detrimental

But I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't order 12 ROH PPVs a year especially at $15 each

I personally think they should have 6 a year
6 a year at most with two months build, but that'd only work if they got a weekly TV deal and the tapings are not so out of wack like they were with the HDNet series.
I like the 6 a year. I wish WWE/TNA would both go down from 12 a year (or in WWE's case, 13) to like 9/10 a year. 6 a year is good for ROH.
4 a year is perfect for ROH atm. They don't have the roster size to do any more than that without having some B Show iPPVs which is a very bad idea. Just look at how bad the buyrates for this next iPPV are gonna be in contrast to the ones last year. Every iPPV last year had a big selling point. Big Bang had the big 3 way title match, DBD had Davey vs Tyler, GBH had Haas & Benjamin and Final Battle had Steen/Generico AND Strong/Richards. 9AS doesn't have anything anywhere near any of them and it's largely due to the depleted roster size and the severe lack of build for new feuds. It's a shame that by the beginning of April they will have done 3 already.
Yeah, four a year is plenty. Six should be the absolute maximum.
4 or 5 shows a year is plenty for me. Part of what made WWE & TNA boring was the ridiculous amount of pay per views, well that and a lack of actual wrestling.
I'd like to see Anniversary Show, Supercard, Glory By Honor, Death Before Dishonor & Final Battle. These are the main shows and they happen every year.
If they lowered the price for some of the iPPVs I wouldn't mind it.

I think they are a fair price.
Maybe someday when they expand their audience, find a better TV deal, get a financial backer, and have some real noticable stars they could grow into the ECW format of a PPV every 2 months.

I agree with this, these 5 would be perfect and no more.
12 is way too much for me even as a hardcore ROH fan. I usually buy about 3-4 at a time and watch them... Can't elevate that number, I'm not that rich :/
No, no, no six is too many as it is.

People need to get out of this brainwashed state that Vince McMahon has gotten them into. Not every company has to follow WWE's pattern, just for the sake of it. There's more than one way to skin a cat.

BTW OP, half of those shows aren't annual.

Supercard shouldn't be an iPPV because being a PPV would restrict its ability to be a supercard. It needs to be pushed as the biggest DVD show and have TNA guys on it IMO.

If they lowered the price for some of the iPPVs I wouldn't mind it.
Lower than $15?
What does it matter with no TV deal?

Just keep it at four IPPVs & release DVDs of the "Supershows".

If they still had a TV Deal, I'd say bump it to six...
Way too much for ROH. 6 is perfect for ROH and TNA. WWE should do 8 PPVs.

They dont really do an event called Caged, Proving Ground isnt really a yearly thing neither is the Homecoming or Eye of the Storm. Especially since they use Eye of the Storm as basically a name for a show affected by a Storm which really wouldnt be that great or easy to broadcast on iPPV.
Yeah, everything on that list after SOTF is not an annual show, least of all Eye of the Storm.

once the football season starts up you might as well take an off season
