If the reports about him being retired by Gunther are true, I guess that leaves the current World Heavyweight Champion for the December PLE, with Cena facing another opponent here.

WWE Ruthless Aggression in December would be an interesting PLE choice as a tribute to him.

I’ll prefer Breakker over Gunther as his last match as how it can be a symbolic passing of the torch

 

Now that Brock is back, they might as well run Rollins, Bron, Bronson and 2 other big heels against Punk, Roman, Jey, Brock, and 1 other big babyface

 

At the very least its clear as shit we are getting Team Punk vs Team Seth at Survivor Series. Maybe Cody will be on the other team if Seth pulls fuckery at crown jewel.

Haven't enjoyed Survivor Series since they introduced this concept.

Nonetheless for the War Games match, I'm guessing it'll be three-on-three in Paris (Seth, Bron and Bronson Reed vs. Punk, Roman and LA Knight), which someone aiding the heels to get the win. That person then joins their team for Survivor Series, with the babyfaces recruiting Jey Uso.

Meanwhile, it'll be Brock vs. Cena.

No idea who Cody faces...maybe a heel Orton? Drew McIntyre?

 

Coming out of Summerslam it's pretty clear The Vision (or the Seth Riders as I prefer) will lead a team against a babyface team of guys like Roman, Punk, Knight, Jey, and one other guy. Maybe Penta? Cena if they want him to work with these guys one last time?

Not really sure what match you get from the women this time around. There's no obvious faction vs. faction feud. And honestly if nothing fits, don't force one.

So at least Seth, Bron, & Bronson. And on the face side you at least have Punk & Roman, and probably Jey & Knight too. I think there's a good chance Cena joins as the last guy on the good guy team so he can work and team with all these guys again one last time.

As for who rounds out the heel side, I feel like it could be Brock & Gunther. Brock's already working with Heyman again. And Gunther has some beef with Punk after losing at Survivor Series. I think they might have the idea to do what they'll call the "most star studded War Games match ever". And you could do a lot of things with this line-up:

1. Have Cena get some payback on Brock even if he doesn't pin him.
2. Set up tension between Brock & Gunther to build to an eventual match with them.
3. Set up something with Cena & Gunther if Gunther is Cena's final opponent.

Why would it be Cena's team? Cena has nothing to do with The Vision. It has to be either Roman or Punk. Cena can be on the team, but it would be completely nonsensical if the team was focused around Cena. He's been outside of the build all year.
