Charlotte is winning. They've already put some excuses there for Trish, that she was just on vacation and now she only has 2 weeks to prepare for Charlotte. Trish will have a great performance and get a standing ovation from the crowd at the end.

Re: Trish Stratus vs. Charlotte Flair

The set up for the match wasn't good. I'll agree with that.

It would have been better if Trish out of nowhere showed up and challenged Charlotte after Charlotte spent weeks of saying "The Queen of all Eras has no match at Summer Slam" and used the fact that SS is in Canada as part of her motivation to be in one more match.

Trish should have challenged Charlotte.

Instead, we got that Kings Court segment. Trish showing up in Memphis for no reason other than to be asked by Lawler about having one more match. It was just poorly done and lazy.

Y'all wanted Charlotte not in a title match at a big PPV and your wish was granted. If you think that WWE is not going to let one of their top women have a significant match at a top 3 PPV then you're fooling yourself. If you think that Charlotte isn't one of their top women then you are fooling yourself.

Just wait until Clash of Champions in Charlotte.

Supporting Charlotte and Nikki Bella!

Other favorites: Lacey Evans, AJ Styles, Elias, Carmella, R-Truth, Braun Strowman and Charly Caruso.

That's a gross oversimplification and the exact thinking that has WWe hemorrhaging fans.

I remember on Raw talk (with the infamous Bayley self burial) Lita said her and Trish are friends but she wanted those opportunities WWE gave Trish.
If she didn't get injured every other week, she would have. Lita had plenty opportunity of her own, when she was healthy.

Re: Trish Stratus vs. Charlotte Flair

the only way this match makes any sense and has any purpose of existing is if Trish wins. There is NOTHING interesting about Charlotte beating Trish.

the brand split sucks

Re: Trish Stratus vs. Charlotte Flair

If Nattie wins then Trish is going to lose. I don't see what momentum this will give Trish, she is 43 years old and in reality there is nothing left to prove. Just another mantel to say she is the GOAT and in reality we have two GOAT's in the making with Charlotte and Becky Lynch. She is doing this for a steady paycheck. It is now Charlotte's turn to make impact and she is still in the peak of her career.

Re: Trish Stratus vs. Charlotte Flair

Trish winning makes absolutely no sense. She's a mom in her forties who's doing the match solely because it's in Toronto. She's already had the feel-good, emotional hometown win at Unforgiven 2006 when she won the women's belt in her last match.

Charlotte's winning this one and it's the right move. She's been spinning her wheels for months with no direction. I don't know how much of a rub is gained from beating Trish at this stage, but a win over a big former star is still a win over a big former star.

Then again, me stating that Trish winning makes no sense will probably mean WWE goes in that direction. Gotta go against the grain!

The crowd just doesn't seem invested at all in this match, not like how they were last year when Trish was returnig. I have a feeling if Trish was fighting Sasha, Alexa, or definitely Becky, there'd be more excitement heading into Summerslam.

This would probably be one of the few times I'd be okay with a legend defeating a current wrestler. Especially because of how forced the entire thing is.
