Loser never wrestles for the title again would be nice. Especially if it ends in a double knockout.

Loser leaves town match. Lesnar loses and leaves the WWE forever means no more silly part time reigns.

What they need to do with this match is have Rollins lose - and lose badly.

Have him going into this match with confidence and almost ego - only to be destroyed physically and mentally. After that, maybe have him lose a couple matches off the bat - build up his visible frustration over the course of a month. Then get a legend to approach him and tell him about how he should never give up and that the legend sees how he can beat Lesnar and get back to the top. Which should spark a fire in Rollins.

Then go back to the drawing board with him. Build him from the ground up. Give him the “I lost badly, I need to go back to my roots” gimmick. Vignettes of him discussing his childhood and his Lesnar almost destroyed his soul - but that he had to get to this place to realise what it means to be FOTC. Vignettes of him hitting the gym as CrossFit Jesus. Get him on a winning streak. Let him beat some wrestlers who beat him at his lowest point after summerslam.

At the same time, have Lesnar vignettes where he doesn’t even think about Rollins. He talks about how he has dominated everyone and everybody. Maybe let him steamroll over one of Rollins backstage friends (a good time to build up some backstage history - an arc we haven’t seen in a long time). My suggestion would be someone like EC3 - it would give EC3 some time to shine and potential for WWE to shoehorn him into the main event in the very soon future.

Then by Christmas, Rollins realises he is ready. This time, a more determined and hungry Rollins is ready. He beats Lesnar at the Rumble. And this is where his gimmick turns from cuck Rollins to hardworking, relatable family man. EC3 turns on Rollins here after he wins the Royal Rumble, starting the very personal ex-friend feud, culminating at Wrestlemania. Build up EC3 as a envious man who loathes Rollins for his success - he saw Rollins get a title shot even though he’s been on a winning streak himself - and he had to win a 30 man Royal Rumble when Rollins was basically handed his rematch. Bring some old friendship material into it. Literally this shit is so easy to write up. Took me all of 5 minutes and it sounds better than anything Vince has come up with for 5 years.

A man can dream for some simple storytelling right? :’(

I should just go to the BTB section.

Im having an impossible time believing Seth can beat Brock now.

Even before what happened tonight I had a hard time thinking Seth can best Brock in a straight one on one match.

After tonight, where Brock just basically manhandled Seth I cant see Seth winning in any realistic fashion.

You always gotta suspend your disbelief when it comes to pro wrestling, yet at the same time there's gotta be a little believability. You gotta believe the wrestler has a chance of winning against his opponent.

After what happened tonight...two weeks from now if nothing else happens physically Brock is going into Summerslam 100%. Seth is going into Summerslam with damaged ribs, hurt body. Yet im pretty sure there setting up Seth to come out victorious with the Universal championship at SS.

Unless there's some fuckery involved, I cant believe Seth winning clean at SS.

That F5 on the gurney was fucking sick

Re: Im having an impossible time believing Seth can beat Brock now.

It's a waste of time.

And like I said in the RAW thread, if Vince cleared those dumb bumps Seth did (F5 on the chair, the F5 on the stretcher, and the worst, tied into the stretcher while being thrown off the ambulance), I don't think Vince sees Seth as long term top guy.

Compare that to the Strowman attack on Roman, where everything was much safer in the bumps. Would you risk Austin, not being able to defend himself, tied to a stretcher, and throw him out of an ambulance, rattling the head/spine as it hits the floor? Especially to someone you lost to a year long injury not too long ago.

there is some truth here. Remember when RMJR got stretchered by Brock and batista? Well at the time RMJR was getting pushed pretty hard, it came to a screeching halt afterwards.

I think they are about to take Seth off tv for a while and let him get refocused. He has hurt himself a lot of social media and from a credibility standpoint. Also remember how Paul said he wants to bring back realistic injury angles? I think we are about to see our first one.

And remember, only the top stars could brush off injuries and the midcard would be the only ones allowed to sell long term injuries because basically.. They won't be missed.

Curious to see if Seth pulls off a Bobby Lashley and no sells the beating next week.. If Seth sells the injuries.. Vince just marked where he thinks Seths real place is..

Re: Im having an impossible time believing Seth can beat Brock now.

As I said before 'mania it's the story of Ryu vs Sagat once again... The big bad guy was defeated. But this is wrestling where the characters change at anytime according to business or just whims of the owner.

This time I guess it's fifty fifty according to how supposedly Seth's reign wasn't ''popular''.

Only thing they can do is make out as if Seth gained a new killer instinct after tonight and is booked stronger than usual despite the believability being in question here.

Seth is never going to look good against Brock pound for pound but if Seth gets another cheap win over Lesnar at Summerslam then his credibility goes nowhere.
