Thread Management

I am always seeing EXTREMELY pointless threads around the wrestling forums. Is there anyway to have some sort of moderation of them? Tons of the threads are just marks saying how stupid heel wrestlers are, and there are so many duplicate threads I can't keep track. Maybe that is just the way these forums are, but I was just wondering.

Quite an idea there, there is a similar thing called moderators which are already in use.

Re: Thread Management

I'm aware of mods, but they don't really do anything about it because all these threads(and countless pointless posts) have become a part of the forums.

Re: Thread Management

They do the best they can... they could do better. But, just remember there are only 3 moderators in the wrestling forums, and that's a tough job to take on. Think of how much they would have to read to moderate every post and every topic. But yeah, we definitely need more people moderating in the wrestling sections.

Re: Thread Management

Yeah dude mods do have lives. They can't just delete threads all day.

Don't rewrite the books, just rewrite the titles

Re: Thread Management

Not all the "pointless" threads are actually without point. A lot of the time it's subjective.

Re: Thread Management

Just read half the stuff in the wrestling forum. So much of it is pure crap posts. It would just take a few minutes to go through threads though. And why not just be stricter on members or add it in as rules?

Example- Rule- no one line posts. No posts just saying "I agree" or adding nothing to the topic.

Is that so hard?
