Re: Your least favorite teams of all time...any pro sport
From Baseball, I hate the Yankees and the Red Sox. I really shouldn't have to explain why. They speak for themselves. Entitled fan bases, they win all the time, the Red Sox paint themselves as underdogs even though they've become winners since the turn of the century....yeah they are obnoxious.
From Football, I can't stand the Cowboys. Okay, let me rephrase: I can't stand the way everyone reacts to the Cowboys. Every year. EVERY GODDAMN YEAR, I have to hear about how great they are and how they are favorites to win the Super Bowl...except they haven't even been to a Super Bowl since I was in the 5th grade and have only won two playoff games in since then. Yet I always have to hear about how amazing they are, how talented they are, and how they are one of the best teams in the league. Any other team would be considered irrelevant with that long of drought for post season success, but not the Cowboys. Look at the 49ers. They've won 5 Super Bowls, but you don't hear anybody stroking their dicks saying they are going to big dance every year (and they've actually had more post season success than the Cowboys in the last two decades). My team, the New York Giants, in that same time frame have been to three Super Bowls and won two, both of them over the New England Patriots, and yet we are irrelevant now. I mean, good, we deserve to be irrelevant and my team sucks now and has for the last few years, but it pisses me off that the Cowboys get praised for achieving a lot less.
I also hate the New England Patriots. I feel like I don't need to explain this one. If it isn't the cheating scandals (Deflategate, Spygate), it is questionable calls that go their way (horrible Roughing the Passer calls that influence games). If it isn't questionable calls that go their way, it is flukey bullshit that would never happen that in a million years happening on their behalf (A time out called when the Pats are stopped on 4th down). And if it isn't flukey bullshit, it is an easy ass schedule (seriously, look at the division they're in: Jets, Dolphins, Bills, typically three of the worst teams in the league most years and they get to play them twice each). And if it isn't any of that, it is the teams basically beating themselves with stupid play calls in a stupid attempt to outsmart the Pats (throwing on the goaline in the Super Bowl, going into shotgun formation and passing plays when you are in field goal range at the end and need to drain the clock). Its like the stars have aligned to make the Patriots the best team ever. I am not trying to take away from Brady or Belichik's individual talents, but when you have a talented team that benefits from a bunch of shit that goes their way, it gets frustrating to watch their games (although super satisfying when they do lose....thanks Ravens!).
