Its crazy how many Duke assistants have gone on to head coaching jobs...Brey, Dawkins, Capel, Wojo, Snyder, Collins, Hurley, and so on.

Yes that was a very fun bunch to watch, even when they beat my Duke team in ACC tournament. Hate to see them struggle, there was a good little rivalry between those two for a few years. Was always a good game to watch.

Well my SEC talk didnt hold up well, with Auburn and Ole Miss dropping out the rankings with Ole Miss falling the hardest. Kentucky is moving up and Im not sure TN is as good as advertised. They are def good but I still dont know if they are the number 1 team in the country. Their remaining schedule will tell me a lot about them...KY twice, at Ole Miss, at LSU, and MS State at home.

Things rounding in to shape for my Wolf Pack. Hopefully we don't face plant the rest of the season and can hold on to a protected seed.

Also, get your shit together ASU, my god.

Duke with a good comeback win last night. They looked awful the first 30 min or so, ha I even swapped over to the GS/Utah game bc Duke looked so awful, only to wake up and see they came back. Still got it tough with NC State and UNC coming to Duke, and then gotta go to Cuse and VT.

Greatest rivalry in College Basketball and possibly all sports (I am very biased) tonight. My fav game of the year is when UNC comes to Duke. Its nuts to think kids have been camping out since early Jan just to get into this game.

On a whim, I looked at tickets for this game. Cheapest are about $2500 and thats behind the goal on either side. If you want something with a decent view its gonna be $4500ish and about $7K for upper deck mid court. Cameron Indoor is on my bucket list, hopefully I can make it one day!!

We can beat the Gators if Caroline's achilles is okay. Who you guys got? I'm seeing a whole lot of Zion, but guard play can carry a team.

Re: 2018-19 College Basketball Thread

Duke is the clear favorite if Zion stays healthy. They are beatable though but if I had to put money on a team the smart money is on Duke. But anything can happen in a one and done scenario.

Michigan State got screwed. The committee representative on CBS said Michigan State leapfrogged Kentucky by winning the Big 10 Championship game...and what did that leapfrog get them..... well that got them put in Duke's bracket..... being a Kentucky fan I approve of this...but that decision makes no goddamn sense.... none at all.

For anyone interested in doing a bracket PM me for a link/password. It's with people here in the fantasy baseball league.

Ha this post threw me off...I guess I read it wrong and legit thought you meant NC State. I was hoping you meant Nevada bc I had a friend I went to high school with that was an asst coach there for 2-3 years, Ronald Dupree. He was a year ahead of me in school, but played at LSU and in the league for a little and is now a scout for the Bucks. So I had started following Nevada bc of him.

They have a solid team that has really shined the last few years. I would like to see them make a good run in the tourney.

After looking at the brackets (crazy to think the ACC got 3 1 seeds), Gonzaga's bracket looks really tough.

Saw something today that didnt make a lot of sense to me either...Duke had best odds to win the tourney at like +190 or something but on ESPN, had the 3rd best percentage chance to win.

Zion will be key but they HAVE to shoot the ball better. My fav thing about the older Duke teams was their ability to shoot the 3, this team, with the exception of Zion, runs about the same offense as most other colleges and is not a good shooting team. If they shoot it just OK and dont shoot it 20% from 3, they will be very tough to beat.
