re: Vince apparently ripped up SmackDown's script again

What's funniest and most ironic is that the show opened with a recap of Roman talking about the attacks against him and he says: "I don't know what's going on. It's affecting my life. I'm gonna get some answers..", and that's pretty much exactly how the majority of fans feel about RAW and SmackDown every week.

As far as ripping up scripts goes, I really don't know what to believe. Sometimes Meltzer is a reliable source and then other times he's just a melt. The same goes for Alvarez. Allegedly, Vince missed both RAW and SmackDown last week because he's busy with XFL 2020 shit so I can't 100% believe this stuff about him tearing up scripts.

At the end of the day the man has to choose. Do you want to have a role within WWE behind the scenes so your opinions, ideas and influence is projecting in the final draft of a show? or do you want to continue with this NFL fantasy that, as history shows, will be a catastrophic failure?

The issue seems to be that WWE, since become a publicly traded company, has seen the McMahon family become the kayfabe owners rather than the real ones. Vince owns 42% of his own company. Ever heard the phrase too many cooks spoil the broth? Things felt a lot easier when it was an authentic hierarchy that was probably true behind the scenes and what was on our TV screens.

ONE RAW GM with World, IC, Tag and Women's Champs (in that order)
ONE SmackDown GM with WWE, US, Tag and Cruiserweight Champs (in that order)
ONE PPV per month

And above all else, the head honcho, the kingpin, cream of the crop, the genetic jackhammer himself, is Vince McMahon, the Chairman of the whole company and when his music hits you know something big is going to go down or some poor sod is getting a P45. The dude needs to decide whether he wants to be Vincent Kennedy McMahon (damnit) or Roger Goodell.

Why did they hire Bischoff then? Can they seriously just put Vince in a home?

re: Vince apparently ripped up SmackDown's script again

If Vince thinks doing this(if it's true) is gonna motivate his writers to do better he's sadly mistaken. I seriously doubt Vince takes the script into a writers meeting and explains what specifics parts he dislikes and the why. According to ex-writers, they spend hours writing every show. So if I'm coming in to work knowing that my effort is gonna get tossed by my boss anyway, why would I go the extra mile?

You fools. Laminate your shit and cover it in glue. Vince can't tear anything up if its stuck to his hands

Are we saying Vince literally tore up the script, because I don't feel like people are using this as a metaphor anymore

The visual is just to good I guess.

That’s exactly what I think.

Moreover, I think Vince wants to take a step back next year to invest more time into the XFL, so he’s working investors and the dirtsheets into thinking he’s the problem, so when he reduces his load, everyone will be cheering for the next in charge to “finally” takeover.

10 years ago if you said Vince McMahon was stepping down from WWE, what reaction would you expect?

Instead, he’s worked everyone into thinking the product will get better instead of worse.

I don't think bischoff has any real involvement with anything, he is apparently there just to make some TV deal go more smoothly.

In any case, there is no competition here. Heyman likely only has very light control over anything, vince is still the main player here, evidence in this.
