Seriously every woman on this roster needs to just up and walk out cause they haven't got a chance in hell in making it unless they're one of the 4 Horsewomen.
Alexa Bliss is far more pushed than 2 members of the Horsewomen, and it would be 3 if Becky didn't get over on a fluke.
Honestly, Ember sucks. Fine worker and all, but no charisma, no star presence, no mic skills. Granted, that makes her top star material in WWE going by their usual ideas, but magically, they've gotten it right that she isn't top star material.
As far as the idea that they push the Four Horsewomen too much, well, yeah, but who, other than Asuka and Kairi Sane would you push if it's not the Four Horsewomen? And they're not going to push Asuka and Kairi Sane because in their stupid opinion, they can't do angles due to their inability to speak English, despite the fact that they have a manager and Brock never talks either. The same will apply to Io Shirai or any other Joshi they sign. So we've excluded them for a stupid reason, who's left? Bliss? They DO push her. A lot. They probably shouldn't. Nikki Cross? They are pushing her. Granted, it's adjacent to Bliss but it's still a push. Reportedly, they want to make her a big babyface, we're gonna see. I have my doubts. Carmella? Lacey Evans? Naomi? They tried. It failed. Big time. Nia Jax? Again, they do push her, but it keeps failing.
If Vince has his stupid reasons he can't push Asuka and Kairi, there are no other options but the Four Horsewomen. Now, granted, I think Ember and Bayley are in the same category of being completely useless at anything that's not in ring, but being a member of the Four Horsewomen does make Bayley more marketable than Ember, as does her gimmick, so for better or worse, that's who they've gone with.
There isn't a lot to work with here. Bliss proves they don't have a Four Horsewoman bias, it's just the way things are. They don't even like any of the Horsewomen but Charlotte. You know Vince isn't happy with having to push Becky after how he treated her, and Sasha and Bayley have been marginalized at most points of their career, but there just isn't a lot to work with in the womens division. Vince wanted, or maybe still wants Lacey Evans to be the face of the company as Meltzer noted, she sucks. She's not no charisma, no presence, no mic skills, no in ring work, a cringy gimmick, and she's not even that attractive like a Bliss, she's average. The only women they're signing that can compete with the Horsewomen are Japanese and they won't let them. Your only other option is someone like Ronda who has a big name outside of WWE to get by on.
