Chad Gable seemes like he's getting groomed for a singles run with some actual substance this time.
For starters, he has a new look with a short haircut, which I think suits him really well.
He appeared on two shows in one night last night. He debuted on 205 Live and won, albeit via count out. More importantly, that match was awesome. And this is a good era to excel ay workrate.
However, it doesn't seem like he'll be staying there exclusively, as he appeared in a segment on Smackdown. They didn't show exactly what he was up to, but he appeared to be drawing something or writing something down.
The question now is, what will his roles be going forward? What will he do on 205 Live? And what is this mysterious gimmick he'll have on Smackdown?
I for one hope he finally gets the recognition he deserves. I never wanted him in a tag team to begin with. Yet, his entire run thus far has been focused on tag teams. First Jordan, then Benjamin and then Roode.
With all do respect to the three of them, it's time to see what Chad can do on his own without something getting in his way. He's still relatively young and he's in great shape in all respects. Besides being physically fit, he hasn't lost a beat because of injury.
The only thing that worries me is this.
