I'm in favor of option A as opposed to option B because in life you aren't promised tomorrow. Especially, in professional sports due to the number of concussions and debilitating injuries the athletes suffer over the course of their career. Not to mention, Kingston will turn thirty-eight this summer. That is to say, he isn't getting younger. So, it's imperative for Mr. McMahon to seize these rare opportunities now.

Come to think of it, what if Kingston weren't the WWE champion and you've Langston out with a serious injury indefinitely? What would you do with The New Day from a booking committee's viewpoint?

Funny, without Langston, Kingston seems like he's alone even with Woods still by his side.

Kofi Kingston is the first African-born WWE champion as well as a Triple Crown champion and a Grand Slam champion

The New Day hold the longest combined reign as Tag Team champions in WWE history.

Sasha Banks, Natalya, Ember Moon and Bayley

Kofi is going to Ghana later this month and they're filming a documentary about him there. He's not losing it at MITB.

They had to do it at Mania. They caught fire at the exact right moment at Elimination Chamber. They rode that wave of momentum for 2 months all the way into Mania and capitalized on it on the biggest show in the biggest way.

It was never going to be better.

Option 1 do it now while he's hot option 2....wait a YEAR? Do you know how incredible long a year is?

It was definitely the right move to do it now.

Strike now. He's hot right now and I really doubt that stays for a long time. He's a one-hit wonder, better make the most of it at this moment.

Although I did not like his booking at all leading into WM - all of a sudden heís Superman? A lot of the audience rallied behind him, so it was the right time to do it.

But, I think it should have just been a short term/transitional type run. He had his big moment. He got to the top of the mountain. But, that momentum should have been used to build serious heat for someone else. KO or someone of that ilk should dominate and take the title off of him, sending Kofi back to the midcard.

And thatís not me being a troll, and bad mouthing Kofi. Iím actually a fan, and have enjoyed his work over the years. But, he looks, acts, and has been booked like a midcarder for 11 years. He shouldnít have become John Cena overnight. Itís reasonable to expect someone to rise up and perform over their head for a short period of time, but it shouldnít be sustained.

100% strike when the irons hot. They messed up on Strowman and Wyatt in the past for not doing so.

Kofi should have lost the title on the next Smackdown though. The money is in him chasing the title, not actually being champ.
