Re: The Kabuki Warriors

It's like played spin the wheel on "Japanese stuff that US fans might have hear of." It's up there with "The Viking Experience" in terms of stupid team names.

Vince has never met a stereotype that he didn't run with.

Also even if you can kind of maybe buy it with Asuka, Kabuki has fuck all to do with Kairi's gimmick.

Re: The Kabuki Warriors

Should have just called them Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

And yes I know it's not Japanese, but Vince wouldn't know or care.

Re: The Kabuki Warriors

Nope not buying it. I don't believe for a second that WWE put that much thought into it. Their track record isn't good in this area.

Also it still sounds like a stupid name anyway.

Someone please assassinate Vince McMahon right now! Because if he doesn't step down, these stupid decisions are going to keep on coming and we continue to laugh at it. I had enough of this shit! What the fuck is wrong with that senile old man? Kabuki Warriors? Viking Experience? What's next!!!!!

Maybe Asuka or Kairi suggested it themselves.

Re: The Kabuki Warriors

The names fine, it’s the botchjob they have done with their themes that bothers me.

At least he didn't call them Rub 'n' Tug.

Not yet anyway. There's always next week though!

Paige implied (or rather, outright said) this was the case on social media.
