This guy is truly horrid. He's had over a month and it's clear he's been a complete failure as champion. New Day as a group is the star but have one of them go solo and it simply doesn't work. Awful on the mic and shit in the ring. Daniel Bryan clearly carried him at Wrestlemania. Give Kevin Owens the title and end this awful bullshit already.

Kevin Owens has never once flopped. If he was actually given the ball properly and allowed to run with it, he would be a mega star. The problem is that he has constantly been buried and made to look like shit.

yeah i said this would happen. just like rey mysterio, people root for a guy who clearly was never supposed to be champion, he has his feel good moment then everyone is sick of him after a month. although rey was mostly bad booking and kofi is just... bad.

WWE championship is fake, I know, but it supposed to be important in the storyline. It's not something to be awarded to losers just because he's been there for ten years. That's not a world champion, it's a participation award.

Imagine if there's a horrible boxer who sucks so badly but then the WBA president says "oh you've been with us for so long, I'm gonna give you the world belt." Make no fucking sense.

Being that you acknowledge that the WWE Title is "fake" you should be well aware that it is the writers and ultimately Vince McMahon that decides who the "winners" and "losers" are. Kofi got overwhelming support being thrown into a storyline that wasn't meant for him and in which the original performer was not supposed to go as far as he did. The support for Kofi was so overwhelming FROM THE FANS that the WWE could not ignore it and who better to go with than a guy that is well liked and respected in and out of the ring.

Now, in real life, people get promotions every day that many feel they do not deserve. I am sure if you were on a job for over a decade and management offered you a promotion despite there being more "deserving" or "qualified" people in line for it you would not turn it down...now, would you?

This thread is bullshit, kofis title reigns only been a month, & it's already better than AJ Styles title reign. I like AJ but that reign was boring AF. Kofis over with the fans, & is great at promos and wrestling. Your just more ppl who wanna bitch about everything in wrestling.

Kofi needs to go.... but he gets the biggest reaction from the crowd whenever he shows up. I swear, if you just read the forums and not watch the product you'd swear that half of the roster is the drizzling shits and isn't over. :lol

Kofi never developed his mic skills because he had that god awful Jamaican accent. Give him time to get better on the mic. This is all new to Kofi. Where Zayn, Owens, etc have been doing this on the mic for years.

I'm only focusing on the mic issues because anyone who says this man can't wrestle is the epitome of hater. Lying out yo ass

I don't get you. Kofi stopped using the Jamaican accent like 7 or 8 years ago.

I have never been a fan of Kofi. It's not just mic skills. He lacks character, presence and most of his moveset are plain crossbodies and moves that look lame like the double legdrop (Ranhei and TiP are OK though). I don't think he should be anything more than a midcarder. His gimmick has always been little more than "guy who loves to jump".

No he doesn't. While Kofi is the bland work horse type champions that fans usually turn against a few months into their reign because all they are selling is "I can perform a good match", Kofi has Xavier Woods and Big E to cover that weakness up that can keep a long title reign/feud interesting. They work so well as a trio it would be a mistake to break them up or make remove the silliness from their act just because Kofi is champion.

I haven't been more interested in seeing anyone stay champ in years, I am truly invested into him as champ.

I also love that he can switch between being goofy and having fun, but being all go once the bell ring, LOVE that. I want him to keep the belt for a long time as long as he is doing as good of a job as he is currently doing, enjoying his run so far extremely much.
