Well, I assume he win the WWE title in late 2015 more like consolation prize since WWE probably know he can't go solo anymore.

I hope he retires immediately so he can stay healthy. No need to stick around for the fans or the internet geeks for one more match. Hes made enough money.

If his career were to end (hopefully not) he can say he had a good run, the man has had a dream career. Although I feel his run with Cesaro was his best. Always liked Sheamus too, even if I did question their overbooking of him at times, he was an underrated talent in the ring. Wish him the best,

Sad to hear.

Love Sheamus. Love his style in the ring, and his look. Really good talent to have on the roster imo

Celebrating Kofi's hopeful Main Event push.

Nope. After Angle vs. Corbin for a sendoff, no one deserves anything good for their last match.

Time to hang up the boots.

His peaked was 8-7 years ago, he has nothing left to offer or gain.

He is not as big as Kane, Big Show or even Al Snow ever was, kinda dead weight at this point.

With NXT UK and Balor the company don't need him as the token irish guy anymore.

I always forget that Sheamus is as old as he is. I always think mid 30's.

Don't think he needs a run. Dude has had an excellent career. Just go out there, give a Mark Henry speech, but mean it. And there we go. Dude deserves to be celebrated, for sure.

Wasn't expecting such a damning assessment of the guy from someone with a Sheamus avi and sig

Re: Sheamus' WWE career is in jeopardy

I swear he called this himself a while ago, the concussion making it creep out again. He’ll probably get some cameo roles in Hollywood after that Turtles movie, it wouldn’t shock me if WWE gave him some role as a on screen character due to being Haitch’s pal and Vince clearly liking him but I’m not sure he really needs a send off run in-ring for the reason Krokro just mentioned.
