Very sad if true. I've never been a fan, but you never wish injury on anyone and certainly not injury of the career-ending variety. Shame.

I actually like him during his babyface run but it's a shame that people prefered Bryan over him.

Honestly I don't think the proper send off is worth it at this point. Just let the man retire and leave it at that. No point in risking it.

Well, obviously only if he's good to go.

Just a added point as it wasn't mentioned but his currently out with concussion from that 6 man vs the new day. The one where drew was ordered to leave to protect him

I'm sad to hear this. He's had some great performances and he seems like an all around great guy.

He better be a HoFer if he has to retire!

I heard about this a few years ago and even then it seemed like the reports were saying he might have to retire. It seems as if he has been fighting through the pain to keep doing the thing he loves. Whilst I imagine it must be so hard to let go, if the condition is that bad then I hope he does retire rather than risk a life changing, long term injury.

He's a big, charismatic guy and i'm sure there would be plenty of avenues open to him

I still remember Edge when he had to make the same decision. He pretty much had no choice and moments like that hit me really hard cause for any wrestler all it takes is one wrong bump or whatever, and their dream and career is over.

Re: Sheamus' WWE career is in jeopardy

It's a pity if true. I like Sheamus and have always felt like he's underrated/underappreciated by many fans.

He's good and it'd be a shame if his career had to end this way. Same with Edge, Paige, Stone Cold, etc for that matter.

Re: Sheamus' WWE career is in jeopardy

This freaking sucks if this is fucking true. For a year I have been waiting for a face turn Sheamus as a solo star but now that I know what his injury is and he is forced to retire. This is a sad way to retire. Another injury takes another talented star away from us. This makes me sad too. Legit sad. I met this dude in 2012 and he is a super nice guy. I'm going to miss Sheamus.
