Re: What will Randy Orton's legacy be?

Randy Orton will forever be known as one of the smoothest in-ring wrestlers of all time. He is literally "your wrestlers favorite wrestler" personified. EVERYONE who has been in the ring with Orton just praises how he is easily one of the best in the world, and how easy he makes it look. However, he'll also always been known as a guy who has done it all, so early in his career, that he has been known to phone it in, and hard. When he is great? We get Legend Killer and Psychotic Orton. Even his face runs where he is into it, like his run vs. Lesnar or post-Authority, he shows real charisma and character. When he isn't? We get John Cena vs. Orton 3009, or Authority Orton.

At least that's how I see Orton. Dude deserves the accolades and the praise, but he also deserves the negatives too. He is somewhat similar to Nakamura, if I am being honest. Just not nearly as charismatic.

I've grown to like Randy over the years I'm not going to lie at first I did not , but he's definitely earned my respect he's solid, he's consistent, he doesn't get injured all the time least I think and he seems to really enjoy the business... I agree though he's not ever going to be considered really the top 10 on anybody's list but he's still considered a good worker although I don't like all the rest holds he does LOL

One of the all time great heels, a multiple time world champion, one of the greatest looks of all time, one of the smoothest inside the ring and a guy who could've been an even bigger star than what he was.

Did Randy ever make another wrestler? Cena did, Hunter did, Brock did.

Overpushed midcard talent who constantly got main event pushes because he looks like an underwear model, which is Vince's favorite look.

He made Mark Henry when he put him over clean a couple times during his hall of pain reign.

That was when Randy was rarely losing and so it had impact. The geek squads on here then complained that Randy is booked til strong and have to “put more deserving talents over”, however wins and loses Does matter and after a couple jobs he did- put over Mark Henry who went nowhere once he lost the title, as well as guys like wade barret and jack swagger- the novelty of him losing ran off and stopped having any meaningful impact going forward.

To me? had a scorched earth on fire 2004-2005 campaign, then cooled down afterwards.

Re: What will Randy Orton's legacy be?

One of the faces of WWEs drastic decline. Not at the forefront with Cena and Reigns, but just behind. A prime example of how boring main eventers got after they hit the jackpot with so many great ones the previous few eras.
