Re: Is it time to admit that Rollins sucks in the ring?

He's always sucked, always!

The guy has zero in ring psychology, he also can't sell without coming across as a corny and over the top buffoon like he always does in every other aspect of his "work". He runs around doing spot after spot after spot because that's all he knows. He also isn't believeable, he doesn't present himself as a pro wrestler and is actually doing it a diservice with his spotty routines.

His matches are awful and are not presented as if they are legit and serious contests either.

I colund't believe it at the time but there was actually a thread on here not that long ago comparing him to Bret Hart, what an insult!

He's utter tosh!
I am the Storm likes this.

Re: Is it time to admit that Rollins sucks in the ring?

The detractors on this thread have too much time on their hands. If you don’t like Seth, don’t watch his matches? Why argue vehemently about how bad he is at things.

I’m not a fan of Kofi in the Main Event.... so I just avoid his matches. Crazy, right?

It's funny because Rollins used to be literally the greatest seller in wrestling history, I am not lying, look for some of his matches earlier in his career, his selling
was near perfection, never seen something like that.

Now, he is considered bad at it, well.. What happened.

Not entirely to blame, but I wouldn't put it past WWE to say 'tone the selling down dammit! You're the main event + a face!!"

Also Gargano? The dude has one selling emotion, which he recycles over and over. The dude is good in the ring, but he's super bland.

Re: Is it time to admit that Rollins sucks in the ring?

I feel like he has an attention span problem.

It's not like the problem Drew has where he makes this ridiculous face when he gets hit hard. He seems like he took a hit. He seems hurt.

And then he's like "Lol I'm magically healed" and starts flying all over the place.

Balor can be both a high flier and sell at the same time. He climbs the ropes slowly. He does a leap and then stays down afterwards like it took a lot out of him to do the move.

Not sure why Rollins can't do something that simple.

He did relate a story once about Vince yelling at him early in his career to not sell as much for someone. I think that someone, ironically, was Kofi. He was supposed to squash Kofi or something.

That I can believe. Kofi was essentially a jobber at that point.

True but as if something changed in those years.
