In my opinion, the WWE's booking committee treated Naomi no differently than Banks during her Women's title reigns. That is, if you don't give an actor or an actresss something
to work with, then how is he or she at fault? You're only as good as the script unless you're so talented that you can offset the drivel. Naomi's indeed talented... Yet, people keep harping on her average microphone skills. And? Roman Reigns is nothing to write home about either. However, that doesn't stop Mr. McMahon from constantly pushing him down our throats like Charlotte. Touché, waylonmercylives?.
Moreover, a good portion of the crowd always pops for Naomi's glow entrance whenever I watch her, and she's a good in-ring worker. So, I wouldn't object to seeing her have another Women's title reign. I mean, people on here act as if the other female wrestlers, who all think their shit don't stink, are that much better than her at being a WWE star. Really? No, I beg to differ. Furthermore, how long has Lacey Evans been on the main roster? And she already has a Raw Women's title shot. Talk about privilege. Ugh. She sucks just like Lana, Rose, Rousey, Bliss and Charlotte. But, Naomi is the one who has to take flak for not being up to people's lofty standards. Basically people just want to criticize by nit-picking...
Well, kudos to Natalya and myself for recognizing talent when we see it. Conversely, I don't think that Naomi is a boring wrestler, or Natalya, for that matter. It seems unfair to single her out... Not to mention, a lot of the women's matches are too short to tell a story to the audience.
Game recognizes game. Natalya isn't a fool. And Naomi can't suck if she's being held back and she's at the mercy of the powers that be. I don't know. I reckon somebody has to get shortchanged in the WWE in order for Charlotte to receive yet another Women's title match.
