Hopefully now after WM 35 marks can cry less about Lesnar being selfish

For the past few years there's been this ridiculous hatred of Lesnar being this so called selfish SOB who has refused to put anyone over. Just thinking about how ridiculous that sounds makes my head hurt. Lesnar whether you like him or not is a once in a lifetime type of talent. You don't bring a guy like that in and make him lose to every geek on the roster. That would be insulting. For all wwe's faults. At least since 2014 in my opinion they booked Lesnar properly(well other than the awful goldberg and reigns feud).

But now after WM 35 ppl can't cry about Lesnar being this selfish POS anymore. Rollins is now the first mid carder since Eddie Guerrero to be put over by Lesnar in a big way. Lesnar could've used his backstage power to lobby himself to look good in defeat. Or even go over Rollins. Or some other screwjob finish. Instead he put over Rollins clean as a whistle. Even though it made no kayfabe sense to do so. That is something to respect whether you like him or not.

And honestly of all the potential guys on the raw roster. In a way I guess it makes sense for it to be Rollins to dethrone him. As he is the one of the few babyfaces with a edge on the roster. And he certainly deserves it as he is also organically over with the fans.

Anywho, hopefully after WM 35 Lesnar gets some much deserved respect. He may not have a passion for this business. But fuck passion, I don't care if my favorites truly love the business or not. There's no denying Lesnar has been one of the few bright spots in this awful PG era. And he just gave back to the business in a big way at WM 35.

Re: Hopefully now after WM 35 marks can cry less about Lesnar being selfish

Why do people purposefully misuse terms? You know damn well Rollins isn't a midcarder. Dudes a 2x WWE champion, 2x IC champ, US champ, 4x tag champ, MitB winner, Royal Rumble winner, and has walked out Mania as champion before. Brock put over another main eventer.

Now I do agree with you on passion is irrelevant to whether you're entertaining. I also agree that you can't have Brock losing to everybody. But after a while his presence does harm because he's booked too strong for somebody who's never around.

Smarks said having a champ that appears on the show would make it a better product. Last night proved that is not the case. Brock had nothing to do with Raw being unwatchable garbage and was wrongly blamed by smarks for years for no reason.

I'm still waiting for Brock to put over a full time main eventer. Luckily, I'll only have to wait until August.

Re: Hopefully now after WM 35 marks can cry less about Lesnar being selfish

I honestly don't think it was a case of people disrespecting or discrediting Brock Lesnar, it was more so that we suffered a long period of time without a main event on the flagship show and there was just absolutely no indication of what the plan was, when we were even going to see Brock again, who was going to face him, and our one hope was Reigns but he dropped the title as soon as he won it. It was literally like WWE forcing us to hyperventilate into a paper bag. One minute it's full and the next it's empty.

Exactly Marks were whining about Brock "devaluing" the belt . But he was by far one of the few to bring prestige to a championship in years. Full time champs do not draw. All it does is add to the over exposure of the product. How many "interesting" feuds can Rollins really have on a full time schedule? The answer is none.

I see a lot of pointless feuds in his reign. Like you said Lesnar had nothing to do with the shit product. He was one of the few bright spots in the pile of shit.

The irony of this post is blinding. 1) Is a Lesnar fan, calls other people marks 2) Has the standard, unoriginal geeky name of "Attitude Era 4Lyfe" or some variation of it in the name, 3) A proven Main Eventer a midcarder for reasons 4) Uses "PG Era" as if we're back in 2008, even though Era implies a period of time has ended and not still ongoing, and fuck me I could go on and on, please stop while you're not ahead.

The fuck were you watching? Rollins won off a sneaky low blow when the referee wasn't looking. He should have been disqualified.
