I have eyes. She's visually revolting to look at. Black makeup and tattoos everywhere is neither attractive nor is it "cool", and if that is "cool" nowadays, then I want to be as painfully uncool as possible, because boy does that look hideous. Since when are the goths cool? The goths were always the outcasts. They were the people that everybody else laughed at for being weird and trying too hard to be edgy. You kids these days have screwed up the natural order.

What exactly is her character? She has no gimmick, she's not playing a character like Toni Storm (which would make her even worse, so thank God), she's just a wrestler like everyone else. A really, really bland one without an ounce of charisma who's about as terrible of a promo as I've ever seen. When she speaks, I hear the sound of knives pushing into my ears.
Goth girls have been considered "hot" for a good while now, it's become very big, not so much guys, but goth girls are widely considered hot now.

There's a reason that chicks who fit the bill for "big titty goth girl" are popular with guys.

Yeah, I can see that, and it's fucking disgusting, no matter how popular it is.

The only reason to care about ratings is whether the show you enjoy might get pulled of the air. And WWE is in no danger of that happening in the near future. Seems like ratings threads are just haters trying to out ego people who enjoy the show.
It's just weird stuff.

Especially when ratings thread nerds have been claiming ratings are in cancellation territory for years

Will be funny to see all these experts on here breaking down Netflix numbers for Raw suddenly go MIA come Thursday. Or, the numbers magically won't matter anymore and will be replaced with "i enjoyed the show, that's all I care about, not some stupid rating!!!"
Of course if you lose people at some point the only people left watching are the fanatical admirers.

And all you hear is how well you're doing.

Not sure why the average joe wrestling fan gives a shit about ratings, if you like it, watch it, if you don’t, don’t watch it.

If a show gets bad ratings, it can be removed from being watchable.

In other words, it get delisted.

You of all people should know this, I'm shocked.
Oof, brother

I am fully aware, I just don’t know why anyone who is just a fan sits around giving a shit about something you can’t change, it is what it is and I’m pretty sure there is a next to zero chance WWE is on the verge of being cancelled anywhere in the future. It’s gone through way worse and survived. People on a wrestling forum going back and forth in a thread of numbers is just silly to me, sometimes to the point where individuals are actually fighting. Hilarious. You do you, though, I mean whatever makes people happy ✊

Umm, Netflix is probably expecting a certain amount of viewers for the $5 billion Raw deal.

Guess what happens if the ratings are lower than what Netflix, is paying for.

Netflix did a press release to announce 5m viewers for the live stream so clearly they are delighted with that.

Now once India, Europe (only UK/Ireland are online currently) and Japan are online the numbers will be even higher. The post WM Raw is going to be huge number assuming India is online by then

Hint: Netflix is known for dropping shows.
That's nice but Raw isn't a Netflix show. It's a 3 hours weekly sports entertainment event with a guaranteed 10 year deal.

If Netflix tries to pull out they will have to pay WWE $5 billion upfront. Both parties simply cannot exit this deal without gigantic financial penalties being paid

So Comcast is spinning off USA, and others into its own company.

This company would not have the pockets of Comcast, so would be looking to cut costs where evere it can like any new business.

Shows might end up moving, maybe even to NETFLIX if the viewership warrants it.

The Netflix debut was terrible, most known for the celebrity pandering and the segment where Hogan got justifiably booed while Gunther didn't get a single segment, and I mentioned on Cagematch that last week's show should have been the debut show, outside of Balor getting pinned again. Focusing on your own talent is the way to go, not cheap nostalgia.

I don't trust ANYTHING that Netflix tells you.

Their "top ten" is all lies. It's what they want you watch, and what they are pushing at any given moment.

Just like "because you watched this" dumb lists. Or you watch this horror film, here's more you may like.....then proceed to have films in that list that aren't horror. 😂

Yes. Very believable that Rush Hour a 27 year old film that's on basically every streaming service is super hot right now. Stop it.
Exactly why I believe Krispy Kreme turns on their red sign not when their donuts are hot but when business is slow..

By comparison, Squid Games Season 2 received 68 million views in its first three days.

Netflix paid $84M for Season 2.
Thats 68m viewes one time for 84m.
So lets work with 4m internationally. Times 52, that makes 204m viewers, thats 3 times what SG did. so worth 252. So thats 2.5bn for 10 years. Of course guaranteeing content for 10 years is more expensive than a one time thing, so double the 2.5bn and you have your equal amount of money.

Saying 84m is cheaper than 5bn is just dumb.

WWE can do what they want people keep watchin, If they lauch a show with dogs taking a crap
while they play some Travis Scott music, Pat MC Afee on commentary,
Maybe Taker can ride his bike again ,....People will watch it cuz its WWE
