A lot of them aren’t fans though who will actually keep what was signed. A lot of these are just doing it to make money, which then ruins it for fans.

Wrestlers do a lot of conventions, meet & greets so they shouldn’t get hassled at the hotel, airport, at dinner etc.

I think Manchester United had the same issue with people turning up with lots of shirts at the training ground to sign.

I'm seeing more of those type of fans in videos, where they have like a handful of pristine action figures or magazines or something, making it abundantly obvious they are just getting them signed to pawn them off on ebay or something. These people are usually the biggest douchebags too, pushy and rude types, which ruin it for everybody else.

Rey Mysterio basically did the same thing and told them to fuck off when a guy at an airport showed up with a board full of shit for him to sign.

I never understood getting autographs. If I see a celebrity, my initial urge is not to bother them.
I agree with the exception of kids.

Little kids like to get the autographs of someone famous they look up to.

You can normally tell the resellers fropm normal fans by the way they approach and what they have with them. A lot of fans just have a photo or want their shirt signed, the reselllers typivally have a handful of items that look brand new. The resellers are also more prone to track them down at their hotel or airport.

If it's someone I mark out for majorly, yeah, I'd want their autograph, but only on like, a handful of things, hell maybe only one thing, and those things wouldn't be duplicates of each other and they wouldn't end up on the ebay for sale 15 minutes later.
I wouldn't have a shopping cart full of stuff to have someone sign, that would be some bullshit, imagine you being in that situation, having to sign a shit load of shit.

Just imagine how bad these “autograph seekers” smell. These people deserve the worst. Adults don’t need autographs, fuck these disgusting humans. The thought of an adult bothering a wrestler in an airport for an autograph to sell online for 50$ is enough to wish for the end of the world. The one time I’ll agree with Saraya on anything.

Said it once I'll say it again, these "fans" that surround these celebs, be them wrestler or otherwise, just to try to profit on the celebs signature, etc are scum of the highest order.

If I was a famous person, they'd be picking up their teeth.

Seriously though, some kid, or dude, or whoeverthefuck came up to me and said "Hi, Rightboob, can I have your autograph?" I'd say "sure you can, sport! Have a selfie, too, you little scamp!". If I was real busy, or having a bad day, I'd politely decline, or say I wasn't able.

But that's fine, celebs get that, they like it for the most part, and the fans are respectful, for the most part. And everyone's happy.

But if some fucking degenerate came up to me with like 30 magazines for me to sign, I'd just laugh and then chokeslam him through a fucking table.

Also, to add insult to injury, if he was with an SO, I'd legit hit on her and steal his GF right in front of him. "Ditch this loser and his Ebay autograph selling ass", wanna go out for a drink, darling?

So at this point, he hasn't got an autograph, I've punched his teeth out, chokeslammed him through a table and stole his girl. He will have to ask himself at this point, was it all worth it?

The signers are a pain in the arse, they ruin it for everyone else.

If I saw Saraya or any other wrestler/celebrity and we crossed paths, I'd probably say 'Hi' or 'How are you' and leave it at that, keep it respectful. Even a nod of acknowledgement. If they seemed super friendly, I might ask for a photo, but they aren't required to accept and I'd be fine with a no.

What’s the difference between a photo and an auto? Takes the same amount of time, if not more to take a photo.

A photo is a picture.

An auto is an actual car.

But anyway, I agree with her general point about creepy fans and those who seek to get stuff signed so they can sell it, but drawing the line there at what’s creepy by someone who was in a long term relationship with Alberto del Rio is certainly a choice.

Saraya being annoyed at that is understandable.

If I was around her or some other popular figure I probably wouldn't ask for signatures or a picture. Probably would just watch from a distance and wave hi as I am not a very outgoing person. So it's wild to me that people have the courage to take a handful of things for Saraya to sign, knowing that it's obvious that they are just doing it to sell it off for profit. Thats not right at all.

I saw Trish at an exhibition I went to but I left her alone, however, I do understand people asking for an autograph. You may never get the chance to see that person ever again, it’s a cool token to have forever (for the non-cunty assholes who sell it).

Fans are going to keep waiting for wrestlers at airports, hotels and other places until wrestlers start becoming available for more public signings and stuff. There's just no other way to meet most wrestlers, so fans are going to do it. And it's dumb because if these wrestlers had booths at WWE and AEW shows, they'd sell a lot more merch and make a lot more money.

Obviously, it's pretty lame of people to take advantage of these wrestlers by selling stuff they signed. To combat this, wrestlers should sign items and force the fan to provide a name for them to make the autograph out to. A Saraya figure signed "To Travis", isn't going to be worth a whole lot and will separate the fans from the sellers.
