The status of current NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez has been up in the air over the past two weeks.

Roxanne “collapsed” (as a storyline) to close out NXT Roadblock after her championship defence against Meiko Satomura.

The angle was shot in order to cover for a legitimate issue with Roxanne that was being evaluated, with Shawn Michaels announcing qualifiers for an NXT Women’s Championship Ladder match at NXT Stand & Deliver.

Zoey Stark, Tiffany Stratton, Gigi Dolin and Lyra Valkyria have qualified for the match, with a last chance three-way between Sol Ruca, Indi Hartwell and Ivy Nile set for next week’s show to determine the final participant.

Despite the match being announced, Roxanne Perez is still officially listed as the NXT Women’s Champion, and we now know more about her status.

Per PWInsider Elite (subscription required), Roxanne is set to be at next weekend’s Stand & Deliver show.

This would seemingly imply that she could be a late addition to the match on the day of the show.

If she wasn’t genuinely hurt, I really don’t see the point in doing the fainting angle and then immediately bringing her back to win the ladder match for the title. That kind of superhero booking is what ends up getting faces booed. Will make everyone else in the match look terrible.

I called it. Predictable. 1st graders can write better stories than this shit.

Roxy has been working at her other job bagging groceries and had to ask for time off for Stand & Deliver.

So, Cocksanne is going to bury 4 of the best women in NXT(and a 5th in Indi Hartwell), then she'll cry after the match and say how she can't believe she's living her dream

At least when Bianca got her superhero push it actually made sense to some extent, given that she's actually talented n all. What's the excuse for this all time stupid booking decision?

Even though I know better, I'm hoping Roxanne misses S&D.

The only excuse i can think of is wwe believes Rox is marketable for little girls &/or Rox kisses up to HBK & the PC coaches. There's not a big gap talent & overall package wise between most of the women on nxt. However, Rox is portrayed sooooo strong compared to the rest, it's pretty ridiculous.

Many of us predicted it

I'm a little surprised by
Indi's inclusion in the match if you're gonna add people who's not gonna win it should have Sol Ruca for some good atheltic spots
BTW You may wanna add spoiler tags not everyone reads taping results.

I took a look at the comments of the 'Rox talking to HBK video' & i was surprised many people believed Rox's fainting was real. Most fans of Rox must be little kids whose parents haven't told them that prowrestling is scripted. If it was real, Rox fainting would be all over the news, not wrestling news channels, regular news programs
