On last nights Smackdown Lacey made her return and went up to a kid with Down syndrome while making her entrance, put her hand up to high five him and then rejected the high five and walked away. Of course this blew up on twitter as many were calling out Lacey for this, even though she's a heel trying to get heat. Many are brining up her remarks she made not too long ago about autism. My opinion on this is that she's just being a heel and people need to relax. Also it seemed like the kid enjoyed it, after she walked a way he had a smile on his face.

Why's she still even have a job there? Every gimmick they gave her failed miserably.

The lad had down syndrome. He seemed perfectly fine, he don't need protecting. I'm sure he had a great time at the event.

If it was to come out he was upset by this, then perhaps bring him back, invite him backstage and give him some merch. Everyone's happy.

But let him/His family decide that.

He has down syndrome, let's not treat them like children or worse, animals.

They can more than look after themselves.

People getting outraged on the boys behalf should perhaps stfu and go be upset somewhere else. This is a fat nothing burger.

People need to calm down, this is their job and what better way to generate heat by being an asshole towards kids.

He probably got to meet her backstage after, the angry people can all go sit down and have a sigh of relief now.

I guess that's one way to look at it. Little dude seemed stoked to get to engage with a wrestler, what huge wrestling fan wouldn't? That's the whole point of going to these shows, getting to participate as an audience member. Some kids like heels.

If someone is offended by this, mostly important on behalf of someone else because of a disability, they are the ones who are actually being offensive. Imagine that kid being told people are offended that Lacey Evans reacted to him because he had Down syndrome? I’m sure the kid just wants to be treated like any normal child. Also the fact he had an interaction with a wrestler, I bet they were so happy!
