Vince McMahon’s rumored WWE return has many people worried, including the competition.

Vince McMahon announced his retirement from WWE in July following an internal investigation into hush money and other questionable activities. Since then, his daughter Stephanie has taken over the business side responsibilities while Triple H has run the creative and wrestling side.

But those close to Vince McMahon have alleged that Vince thinks he was given “bad advice” when he announced his departure, and now he intends on coming back.

One person who reported being “nervous” about Vince returning was Saraya, a.k.a. Paige. Even though she no longer works for WWE, the idea of Vince returning has rubbed her the wrong way, per her comments made in an interview with Forbes:

“He’s only been out for a couple of months! I feel like WWE’s doing a really great job with Hunter in charge. And I feel like everyone backstage is very happy from what people have been telling me.

People across the board are just happy, not saying they won’t be if Vince comes back, but I felt this breather was needed to really shake things up over there and get people excited. But if he comes back, is he going to undo everything Hunter [Triple H] has done?

That’s the question, you just don’t know what’s going to happen. I don’t work there anymore, so I don’t have to worry about it. I have Tony [Khan], and he’s fantastic as a boss to me, so if I have any issues I can tell him and he’ll always be very clear with stuff. Whereas I just get nervous if Vince comes back for them because you just don’t know what he’s thinking on a day-to-day basis.”

Nothing that we're all not also thinking, gonna be interesting to see how 2023 unfolds.

Vince's retirement was never going to last. The man devoted his whole life to WWE, it's probably the only thing in his life that gives him purpose. I just can't see Vince ever wanting to walk away from all of that willingly so it doesn't really surprise me. He's been away for a couple of months and now probably realizes how much he misses and depends on WWE.

I feel like the best thing to happen would be someone completely, completely new. My theory has always been that the 90s boom happened because it was spearheaded by two people from outside of the wrestling bubble in Vince Russo and Eric Bischoff. Had Jim Cornette and Greg Gagne been in charge of the WWF and WCW, respectively, both companies would have gone out of business. You just need a fresh mind sometimes. If you've only ever been in the wrestling bubble ever, how can you think of anything new and fresh? Wrestling is so fucking boring and godawful because it's run by the people who have never watched anything except wrestling, ever. So they just repeat the same angles, same stories, same everything year after year after year forever and ever and ever. Because it's all they know.

And this includes Tony because he's a wrestling nerd, so basically inside the wrestling bubble, as well.

Bischoff has been involved with wrestling since the mid 80s though.

Have you listened to the KC shoot interviews of Vince Russo, Eric Bischoff and Jim Cornette? A lot of what you described above was obvious when watching those interviews.

Yea, and Russo did stuff for the magazine and whatnot. So, yea, I recognize these aren't the best examples. But they're still two guys who had not been involved in the creative process before sort of stumbling into it one day. Bischoff had some involvement in the AWA, I believe, at the very tail end, in 89 and 90 maybe, but that company was so dead at that point, and I doubt Bischoff had a ton of input.

I think people are hesitant to let ‘outsiders’ in to the world of wrestling because history has taught us it has provided negative results. Eg. Jim Herd was about as outside the wrestling bubble as you could get, and he was a total and utter disaster. WWE look like they aren’t going to have somebody outside the McMahon family circle take charge for a very long time.

Are you people Alright? Is that a joke?

Seriously, what gives her the right to even speak on this kind of matter? Got nothing else to do?
Would you image, for say, Same occurrence with Tim Cox and Apple, and some employee from Microsoft make an opinion about it
What the Fack?
Playing the victim got her that far, she won't be the next Rose McGowan so please don't even try.

Yea, I do think the revolving door at WCW kinda shut the door - no pun - on this a long time ago. Best case scenario would just be someone who knows wrestling, respects wrestling, but also just looks at it from some type of a fresh perspective. I feel like people either want to recreate the 80s, or the Attitude era. Well, what those two eras had in common was they had not been done before, haha. They were innovation, you know. Now, it's either you want to recreate Jim Crockett Promotions from 84 to 86, or you want to redo WWF from 99. And it's a battle between these two philosophies. Even among fans. How about a new idea? I actually thought the rankings in AEW were fresh; yea, not perfect, but for God's sake at least it was a new idea, so I respected it, and wanted to see it fine tuned.

Everyone needs to chill, he ain’t coming back.
She was probably asked the question by the interviewer and answered it , people are acting she called up Forbes and said hey can you print an interview telling people I'm nervous about Vinces possible return

The hell are you on about?

You do realize she has friends who still work in WWE, why isn't she allowed to comment on the rumors?

Friends? In the business? Ha!

Never mind that, she is absolutely clueless if she think she actually have a say. Who answers like that?

And you bunch of weirdos just talking smack.
Yeah let’s ask George Martin to start writing storylines, and maybe we’ll have a closure to an angle in about 10 years.
