Virtually impossible to measure “pops”, especially on tv, but it’s a good talking point.

There is obviously recency bias here, but that’s ok.

For me, the biggest pop since 2000 was Hogan on Raw post WM18. That was actual shivers.

Since 1985, I would argue Austin’s pop many times in the 90s, hart vs bulldog at Wembley, Hogans pop many times in the 80s were louder than any since.

Imagine if we could hear living room pops.… Hogan and Andres “slam heard around the world” would have to be winner.

I don't suppose anyone can accurately measure it even if they wanted to:D though that would be pretty cool. When it comes down to it, the bigger the arena, the more people in it, the louder the pop is going to be. Stadiums will make more noise, but without the roof it won't sound as loud. There's also massive differences between an actual pop, a momentary thing, and a sustained wall of noise like when Rock returned in 2011, the Punk return last year, etc.while one might be louder for an instant, the other is far more crazy.
