I don't see that happening, I mean IYO is the GOAT woman in the ring sure but Becky is really good specially in terms of psychology and storytelling. They would work very well off each other. I see the match going more or less how IYO's last singles match against Rhea on NXT went which was great.
Yes! I would love to see them bring back Poppy for her entrances, such a great fit...

#1 female Japanese talent in the world overall and yes I'm including the other 2 of the top 3 Japanese women talents, Meiko Satomura and Kairi Sane.
Iyo Sky has been the shits so far though, the way shes presented on the mic and backstage looks like the AEW joshi comedy wrestlers and her worst matches of her career so far have been on Raw.
Io Shirai though is another story, one of the best womens wrestlers on the planet, easy top 10.
She's far better than Dakota and even better than Bayley, Damage CTRL holds her back, she should be solo and in the world title picture before the year is over.

By booking the original (and rightful) 2019 Wrestlemania 35 main event between Lynch and Rousey at Survivor Series this year and then send Ronda packing back to her farm. No one cares about Lynch/Rousey in 2022, Vince fucked that up when they had lightning in a bottle in 2019 and he had to insert Charlotte into the match. No one wanted to see Rousey/Flair this year either, but on the positive note at least Ronda is acting more like herself now and Becky will undoubtedly return as her GOAT persona of The Man. Who the fuck wanted to see Big Time Shits vs a smiling babyface Ronda at WM lol? I'd be ok with having The Man vs Rousey this year and saving WM 39 Becky match to face someone with world class talent like Io Shirai.

I mean if nobody cares about Lynch/Rousey in 2022 why do the match then? But really doing that match at Survivor Series would need to rush many things in both brands. Ronda is currently getting ready for taking the title from Liv, feuding with Shayna or both. Becky is out with an injury and doesn't have the title which she no doubt would want back first thing when she returns. I don't see how doing the program with Ronda at Survivor Series moves things so that Becky faces Iyo at WM39.
Things would need to go more or less like Bayley beats Bianca for the title at the PPV after Clash, Becky returns and beats Bayley, Iyo wins the Rumble or Chamber and challenges Becky at WM39. But even then you'd need to drop and rush some things to get there.

Ronda and Shayna doesn't need a title. Ronda clearly doesn't want to be there either, they shouldn't be making her a priority. I do agree with you on the unfortunate trajectory that they will most likely book Shayna to beat Liv and then feud with Ronda for the belt or something along those lines, but if Ronda isn't made a priority, it can work.

I mean, why not? Triple H has gone on record calling her the best female performer in the world. Nevermind her sheer talent, don't see how it is inconceivable that she would become women's champion on the main roster at some point.
I can feel for Ronda. If people were hating on me every day, I’d feel less motivated to perform also.

@Dolorian if WWE and 2k started making a really good wrestling game that surpasses its predecessors, Paige, Iyo Sky, and Becky Lynch would be my main event women to be champions. I had 2k16 in the past and Paige was the longest reigning women’s champion in my console drive.

While it is still early on her main roster run, look at how they have booked her so far. She has gotten the pin on the two tag matches her and Dakota have won in the tag titles tournament. Her first singles match was a competitive 20 minute bout with the champion that ended in a DQ (and it wasn't like she was about to lose and needed saving). They also had the same match at a recent live event. From NXT we know Triple H highly values her and she got a 300+ day title reign and was well presented and booked. Her getting a title run looks like it is just a matter of time.

I mean she has the talent to do so. And if she was given big spots in singles matches with the main women, she would deliver. They would have to tweak her character from what it is now. Because as now she's kind of just a mini Bayley in terms of being a shit stirrer. Which is fun, but on her own she'd probably need to be closer to what she was in NXT after she turned heel in 2019.
