Booking Your Fantasy WrestleMania Card

If you could book your fantasy WrestleMania card, what would your card look like? What venue(s) would you use? Imagine all wrestlers are in their prime. Can be a single day event or go several days.

Mine is shown in the picture. It is a three-day affair. I went with more modern wrestlers since wrestlers of the 1970s and before had a totally different style, not exactly suited for "sports entertainment." I know I am missing a few guys, but just did not know how to fit them in with an opponent that would fit their style. Mine is 30 matches in all and features 10 matches per night. I also tried my best to pit wrestlers against each other who never faced each other in a formal match.

Well if we're pretending I'm an insane time controlling billionaire with endless resources who can make the crowd never get tired and be hot all night.... Mine would probably be more of a Starrcade than WM to be honest. Though I am gonna make this is wild as I can think of.

In my own reality maybe lol.

It's hard to structure a proper balanced card with too many prolific matches it's almost sanitary to have underwhelming ones to fit format rather than overproducing so many dream scenarios in a big way.

With venues I'm not too fussed either since MSG is the only one that stands out to me.

I really like those top three matches from day two. Those would be the money matches I think. Day one, I like Bret Hart vs. Daniel Bryan. I don't recognize all the guys on your card though.

Good matches here. Could keep same card but I would change the Brock Lesnar opponent to either Ken Shamrock or Vader. Nice touch with the Chyna/Rousey match.

For me it has the 3 ring circus. Something for everyone. Left off a lot of guys I love and many matches I love but C'la vie.

I cant make a full card but I Will give you 2 choice for matches I havent seen so far

1- Tag team triple threat Ladder match
-the 4 horsemen
-evolution
-the shield

2- triple threat Last Man standing
-Jon Moxley
-terry funk
- mick foley

Wrestlemania is a WWE icon, so I'll only go with proven WWE stars. And I missed the times when Mania was held in a smaller venue. The sheer size of football stadiums takes away the tension in the ring.

So, my fantasy booking is going to be meat-and-potatoes-style wrestling show, running no more than 280 minutes.

The Rock (c) vs Edge - WWE Championship
w/ Hulk Hogan as guest enforcer

Undertaker vs The Great Khali - Casket Match

Kevin Steen (c) vs CM Punk - WWE North American Championship

Adam Cole and Ricky Morton (c) vs Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit - WWE Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship

Roman Reigns vs Harley Race - Steel Cage Match

Triple H and Kevin Nash (c) vs Austin and Pillman - WWE World Heavyweight Tag Team Championship

Mr. Kennedy vs Vince McMahon (the boss squashes Kennedy)

Kenny Shamrock/Paul Orndorff/Vader/SID
The biggest sellers in wrestling versus the baddest badasses, this would be glorious

-Bret Hart vs Kurt Angle
A match I have always dreamed of seeing

-Trish Stratus vs Becky Lynch vs Sensational Sherri
All my favorites, I think this match would be nuts

-Demolition vs The Brothers of Destruction (The Undertaker/KANE)
My favourite tag-team in Demolition, always looked best when going up against insanely overpowered teams

-Triple H vs Eddie Guerrero
I think this match would have been off the charts

-Edge & Christian and The Hardy Boyz vs The USOs and The New Day
To complete my list of WWE favorite tag-teams, this match could get all the stars

-Vince McMahon and his Stooges (Pat Patterson/Gerald Brisco) vs Mick Foley/Steve Austin
For me this was the peak off the Attitude era

-The SHIELD vs The inaugural nWo (Hulk Hogan/Kevin Nash/Scott Hall)
The SHIELD were awesome and beat everybody. The nWo were Legendary. The two meeting would be a clash for the ages

-BATISTA vs Brock
I think BATISTA and Brock are great, all time great, and being the first match at this level could rock the very foundations of professional wrestling.


This list has my top seven favorite wrestlers, my top five tag-teams, and is tag-team heavy because tag-team wrestling rules.
