Re: Do you feel Seth/Fiend is a rushed program?

Yes. There's no reason for The Fiend to be challenging for the championship this early if he isn't gonna win it, which he almost certainly will not.

In a way, it almost highlights how little faith WWE has in their own abilities to keep Bray Wyatt's momentum going that they'd rather cash in on him while he's hot instead of risking mishandling him like they do with everyone else before pulling the trigger on him

Yes Fiend should be running through the mid card geeks undefeated up until Mania. Fights Undertaker at Mania and retires him. He should be treated like Pentagon more bothered with hurting people then titles

Only thing this depends on really is if Bray wins. I mean sure you can say it's rushed and they could have done more with The Fiend before getting to this level. Honestly I would have had him win the Rumble.

But if he is to win, I don't blame them for putting their hottest star in the main event. If he loses, then it's an absolute crime. Whether's its rushed or not is irrelevant to me in this case.

Re: Do you feel Seth/Fiend is a rushed program?

Definitely. It 100% is rushed.

Ideally Bray Wyatt would win a couple of high profile feuds as The Fiend before going into a World Title program. Its a tricky spot they've put themselves into now because if The Fiend loses here already, then he's done before he ever even got started. If he loses the only remotely relevant match he's had as The Fiend then he quickly becomes just another geek on the roster. But at the same time, and as much as Seth Rollins is WOAT tier Garbage and needs to lose the Title, it'd be dumb to have him run through Brock and Braun like that and then lose to Bray Wyatt. Its a lose-lose situation.

So yeah ideally they would have held off on this a bit so its not such a "damaging" loss either way. And ideally they would have established The Fiend more first with a few big wins. But there's another issue because of the way the WWE operates where they only push a couple of select few guys and the remaining 97% of the roster are aimless jobbers there's no one for Bray to face and feud with. Name one other babyface in the WWE today that Bray could have feuded with in a feud that would feel important? Feed Miz to him? Have Bray work with a low card spot monkey like Cedric, or Ali?

Who else is there? Thats the problem. If they had of held off on this feud then The Fiend would have just become aimless, they'd just have to keep trotting out more and more old Legends every other week so it feels important when The Fiend lays someone out as opposed to just having him mix it up with irrelevant losers like Miz, Ricochet, etc.

This feud happening now really highlights so many of the WWE's flaws. Their stubborn focus on only allowing a tiny group of chosen ones to be pushed. Their complete misuse and burial of anyone who doesn't suck some McMahon dick backstage. Their short sightedness. Their inability to book long term or look at the future of the product.

Re: Do you feel Seth/Fiend is a rushed program?

from my knowledge the fiend has only single televised win. Therefore it would make more sense for the fiend to continue feuding with balor, have him beat the demon at survivor series and then begin his title push going into mania season with him actually winning the title at mania 36.

Rollins is also fucked in this cause if he beats Bray Wyatt this time as the Fiend then he is done as Universal Champion and as a face. He would get no more big reactions, the fans would turn on him in a hurry and boo him every time he comes out after Hell In A Cell. Vince wouldn't want that to happen to another guy he build. Bray Wyatt is going to defeat Rollins at Hell In A Cell and finally win the big one.
Nah, the WWE sheep these days barely ever hijack shows anymore. If Becky is the closest the current sheep have come to hijacking the show for, they have nothing to worry about if Seth goes over Bray.

Ultimately, it doesn't even matter if Bray wins if he doesn't get the belt. Seth could get destroyed but if Bray doesn't walk out with the belt this has been a waste of time.

100% Yes! So far The Fiend has had one 3 minute match. He isn't ready for the championship imo. While he his extremely hot, we have no idea how sustainable the character is.
Now is the PERFECT time to put the title on him, always in the wrestling world put a/the title on someone that is white hot, otherwise it's just another huge missed opportunity that becomes a what-if scenario.

Remember when Braun Strowman was white hot a few years back and everyone said he was "saving wrestling/Raw", but instead of winning the title he jobbed out? He lost a fuckton of steam for not winning, hell it didn't even need to be a lengthy reign. Now, he gets half the reaction that he used to and I doubt hardly anyone cares if he wins the title or not.

Re: Do you feel Seth/Fiend is a rushed program?

Its definitely rushed. Problem is that theres nobody else left to realistically challenge Seth and such a ppv is perfect for the fiend. That being said, the builds been shit

Re: Do you feel Seth/Fiend is a rushed program?

It's only rushed if The Fiend loses. It's not rushing if your hottest star wins the world title, and if you still maintain it is, then rushing is a good thing because Seth NEEDS to drop the title. He is absolutely worthless and cannot handle a main event position, this has been proven every time he's gotten it, and he's worse than ever now, getting shaken up by trolls on Twitter.

So yes, because he's losing, it's rushed. I can't blame them if he wins, because it's what they should do. Bray Wyatt is the main event star the WWE is in desperate, desperate need of and there is no point in delaying his coronation several months. He's needed right now. I mean, seriously, you're going into football season with Fox taking all your stars and this FAILURE, Seth Rollins, this no charisma, dull, unover pussy who lives in the shadow of his fiance and deletes his Twitter because he's being cyberbullied as the world champion? They're gonna get lower ratings than Dynamite.

Yes...Bray's new character should have had a slow build once making it to the ring (yes, I know the vignettes aired since right after Wrestlemania). He should have worked his way up the card before making his way to the champion. Now they are in a position where he is in a match where there has to be a winner. Losing derails his momentum and winning now runs the risk of his character running its course early.

It is really rushed to the point of some parts of the storyline not making any logical sense.

For example Seth screaming and crying when the Fiend comes out for him. If the Fiend was a completely new character that no one have ever seen then you can say Seth is scared of the unknown scary enemy.

But Bray Wyatt isn’t new, Seth have already fought him and beaten him in the past so screaming and being scared just becuase he now has a mask is beyond stupid...

And Bray /Fiend hasn’t really done anything crazy scary yet where Seth should be scared from- he only beat a non demon fin Balor and have taken out a few past their prime legends and that’s about it.

Bray decently needed more buildup before this

Re: Do you feel Seth/Fiend is a rushed program?

Probably too rushed, but get it over with so Seth can move on and Bray can head back down the card. Hopefully after the draft RAW gets some decent enough guys to go after the Universal title. Or my hope is Lashley comes back soon and wins it.
