Why do many wrestlers wear suits nowadays?

All those bright lights and camera flashes-uhh.

Only real celebs like The Haitch know that feeling.

The suits in particular seems to be a mostly heel thing, a small way to try and get heat by coming across as superior/better than you.

It doesn't fit everyone though. It works with Miz, HHH, Jinder, Titus, but for someone like Kevin Owens it hurts him, especially when he doesn't have a beard because he looks like an accountant in his cheap suit. And Ziggler suits being dressed up when he's the "Show Off".

I wish they dressed original. remember when Rock were stuff like his cow vest, $500 shirts, $800 shoes, cuban chain, sunglasses, gold watch, bracelet, track suits, etc,

or Kurt Angle wearing his reebok jumpsuits during the attitude era,

or Austin wearing cut off jeans with knee braces, shirt tucked in, trucker hat, figaro necklace, watches, etc,

or Triple H wearing jeans and leather jacket with cut off denim jacket on top of it, his old motorcycle harley davidson hat, etc.

Also wearing suits depends on your character, 2003 and 2012 Triple H wearing suits was weird to me, 2013-present Authority Triple H wearing suits actually fits the character and haircut. Mr.Mcmahon obviously should always be wearing suits.

I liked when Seth Rollins wore suits as a heel. Not only does he look great in them, it fit so well with his Authority character.

But it was always funny when The Authority would come out - Trips, Seth, Kane in suits and Randy Orton in his wrestling gear or something lol.

Then again, what do I know, my favourite wrestler wears the same clothes whether he's wrestling or not :D You'd hardly catch Dean Ambrose dead in a suit, outside of the HOF, the only time he's worn a suit on TV is for the Slammys in 2013 when the whole Shield wore them. It was odd for them cos they were usually just in their riot gear, but at the same time, I liked it A LOT. But even when Dean wears suits for the HOF, he half asses it and doesn't wear a tie or dress shoes :lol (except that one time in 2014 lol but he looked uncomfortable the entire time...)

I don't know, I guess dressing up nice is supposed to be some kind of HEAT magnet lol. If it fits the character, I'm fine with it. It works for guys like Miz but not so much for guys like Owens. And RLStern brought up a good point, back then wrestlers had their own unique out-of-ring outfits that made them all stand out in their unique way. Another thing missing in today's product.
