I like The Miz. I rarely say that a superstar needs to bulk up, but he is the rare exception. I feel like if Miz were to go away for 8-9 months, and hit the weights. Find a professional trainer, and nutritionist to whip him into shape so that he can come in looking impressive. He is dull looking, and not very intimidating at all. If he were to bulk up I think he could seriously turn his career around, and at least be viewed as a threat. Right now he looks like someone who is hitting the gym, but not really going full throttle.
Miz, even at only 220 lbs is already pretty bulky. His pecs and his shoulders are pretty beefy. I think his body is fine, but if he needs to improve anything, he needs to tone up and get cut, not get bigger. Ad either start adding more aerial moves or suplexes to his repertoire. Maybe a more grappling based moveset with a couple of high spots like dropkicks or flying clotheslines can help him out.

Either a heel turn or give him a break from TV to work Media appearances and then thrust him into a feud with a fresh new heel.

They turned him face and ruined him,guy is a PERFECT midcarder Heel.Nothing else, they need to turn him back.

the guy was was fraud as a heel. A freaking joke heel to the 100th degree. And he sucks as a face too (little better than he was a fraud heel but still doesn't matter)

The guy blows period.

He was buried by Cena. Then they built him back up with the whole Awesome Truth thing, only for him to be absolutely buried yet again by Cena and The Rock. And then he was repeatedly buried by R-Truth, and he never recovered from that.

People on here usually exaggerate when talking about burials, but Miz actually was buried on three occasions within about 6 months. It's no wonder he fell down the card.

The miz should never have had ANY business being in the main event scene in the first place, Probably the worst main event in wrestlemania history talent wise. Thats how awful booking and the talent was around that period of time. He's where he belongs, being a host and under card.

The only thing I ever liked about the Miz was that short-lived storyline of him on the locker room hazing. He should've latched onto that as motivation and a story: the idea is he was bullied because no one thought he was good, and now he's out to prove everyone who put him down...call it a "Revenge Streak" and there you have it, a more serious Miz character (you could even drop "The Miz" and just make him Mike Mizanin). At least it would be something different then the same stale bullcrap he's been giving us.

This. Exactly.

The Miz couldn't get over as a face and it seems like WWE has given up trying to make his face character work.

Right now, he's just doing anything to remain on TV and it comes across as that. His Miz TV segements are notoriously unover with the crowd and his commentary isn't that great on Main Event. WWE should just take him off TV, refocus him as a heel, and then bring him back.

A couple years ago before I took a break from watching wrestling (around 2011) he used to be one of the top guys, but since I started watching again recently he doens't really seem to be doing anything purposeful. So yeah, how come he's dropped to his current position? I really enjoyed his heel work before.
Honestly, he should go back to playing a heel. I'm not sure why the WWE didn't have Miz just snap on JBL while doing commentary with JBL recently. Miz finally breaks the the 4th wall, and talks about the shit he had to deal with in regard to JBL while Miz was just coming up in the business. This would have been epic, and a great way for Miz to basically place himself as a respectable heel. Beating JBL's ass would have been. No, most casual fans know nothing of the beef between JBL, and Miz. However, that shouldn't exclude these two from feuding. It would be sweet irony, and a moment of respect gained by The Miz amongst a certain level of fans, and likely co-workers. Miz humbles a "Wrestling God", and gets right back into the buzz.
