Pinfall for now, just cause we don't really see many intense submission situations anymore. It's just times where a guy locks in a submission, both guys just stay in like same position for 5-10 seconds, then the guy taps out.

Though the Miz-Barrett one and HHH-Lesnar submission moments were great, though only Miz-Barrett ended the match with submission(especially HHH-Lesnar, where Lesnar gets in submission,HHH breaks out, and when HHH thinks he's safe, Lesnar quickly jumps back at him and locks in submission again)

Submission, more exciting, unless it's one of those crappy ones where the loser taps out immediately. Non-finisher submission holds are a complete waste of time as well.

Pinfall. Only time I like submissions is if the submission looks legit. Like Benoit's crossface.

On the topic of submissions, anyone notice that the Undertaker didn't do Hell's Gate at Wrestlemania?
Pretty sure he did?

Depends. If it's someone I dislike, obviously I'd love to see them tap out and if it's someone I like, I'd rather see them lose by pinfall.

Actually he did.

It depends on the move and wrestler really, because I used to enjoy seeing the ankle lock or crippler crossface close a match, but watching Mark Henry slam a victim into the canvas or Big Show WMD an opponent for the 1..2..3 is much more entertaining imo.

Yeah he kind of had it locked in & I think Punk flipped over into a pin ... he botched it a little and made it sloppy as shit but that's my boy Punk. :D

I prefer the submission, when done properly it's too awesome.

I voted for submissions based on the reality factor. In the wrestling world, I think it's more realistic to take advantage of a dazed opponent with with a submission lock than to pick them up over and over again for body slams and movement that takes your energy away from yourself. I also think it's realistic to try and get match over as soon as possible with a submission instead trying to pound a guy until he can't kick out.

No. I'm not saying I want to see a match full of submissions. I'm just saying it would be cooler for more matches to end in a realistic fashion.

It really depends on what kind of match it is and who is in it. For example if you have somebody who's booked as a real tough guy and he submits then it means way more than it could if he'd been pinned. Where as the opposite applies with somebody like Santino, if he taps out it looks daft and works better if he's pinned.

The thing with submitting the tough guys though is that it has to be done right and fit within the para-mitres of the storyline.

Pinfall for me. Submissions can be interesting, but I don't like the annoying "I made you tap" promo the next week. . .which inevitably happens 80% of the time. As someone else pointed out, the whole "work on the limb for 10 minutes" thing is a bit hokey too.

It can be cool, but a good pinfall after a big finish is better imo. Just so long as they don't keep setting up the finish with the same 15-20 seconds of spots every single time.

The buildup for the pinfall feels more exciting to me than one guy holding another the same move for 10-30 seconds before tapping. Definitely can't say seeing people tap to the STF or Hells Gates is more exciting than a Last Ride or Tombstone finish.

There's just usually not enough guys who sell a great finisher to make it exciting enough. I did always like Bret's Sharpshooter, Benoit's crossface, and recently Brock's kimura though.

It depends.

Submission makes a guy look like a pussy if you do it a lot, especially like how ADR made Ziggler tap like ten times straight. That really hurt Ziggler's credibility.

I voted submission...

It depends on the wrestler and the match though. It adds a different kind of drama than a pinfall would and is less common, so that's why I chose it.
