You’re absolutely correct. Taven is crushing “it.” It being ROH.

It’s a fun little experiment. A failed, fun little experiment. Now end it.

Haskins vs Taven is a top 5 MOTY for me. Very little is due to Taven. In fact a *****+ performance from Haskins was wasted against Taven.

Taven is an anchor dragging this company further into oblivion.

I've enjoyed nothing Taven has ever been involved with.

Ring of Honor “Reloaded Tour 2015: Atlanta”
August 29th, 2015
From the North Atlanta Trade Center in Atlanta, Georgia
Commentators: Kevin Kelly and Steve Corino

Tonight: Adam Cole and reDRagon verses Jay Lethal and the Addiction

Spoiler for results:
Corey Hollis vs. Cedric Alexander
This match was going along fine until Hollis took a nasty elbow just under the eye. They had to switch gears and recovered just fine.
Winner: Cedric Alexander

The Kingdom w/Maria Kanellis vs. Will Ferrara & Takaaki Watanabe
This was a really good match from all four. Even Maria wasn’t as annoying on commentary as she usually is.
Winners: the Kingdom

Adam Page w/BJ Whitmer vs. Michael Elgin
This was a really fucking good match until the stupid end when stupid BJ Whitmer pulled Page out of the ring and they left.
Winner: Michael Elgin via countout

ACH & Matt Sydal vs. the Viking Experience
This was decent but none of these guys really excite me much anymore.
Winners: the Viking Experience

Dalton Castle t-shirt ad.

P-Dog and a large entourage come out to embarrass themselves. Michael Elgin comes out and Powerbombs them all.

Because his opponent Cliff Compton is unable to compete tonight Mark Briscoe comes out and issues an open challenge to anyone in the back. The Romantic Touch answers the challenge.

Open Challenge
Mark Briscoe vs. the Romantic Touch
This was okay.
Winner: Mark Briscoe

Caprice Coleman vs. Roderick Strong
This was a really good match but the verbal blowjob Kelly and Corino were giving Roderick the entire match was a bit much. He could be good but he’s never been great. They painted him as godly.
Winner: Roderick Strong

Kevin Kelly interviews Stevie Richards in the ring. Eventually Jay Lethal comes out and tells Richards to get out of “his” ring. Stevie tells Lethal that he’s here to compete in Ring of Honor. They almost fight but security breaks it up.

All-Star Extravaganza PPV ad.

Moose w/Stokely Hathaway vs. Jay Briscoe
This was going along just fine until Adam Page attacked Jay Briscoe and Cedric Alexander attacked Moose like three minutes in.
Winner: no contest

Stokely Hathaway demands they continue this as a Tag Team Match.

Moose & Jay Briscoe w/Stokely Hathaway vs. Adam Page & Cedric Alexander w/BJ Whitmer
This was a really good match that benefited greatly from the head from Page and Alexander’s interference. It was one of the best performances I’ve seen from Moose.
Winners: Moose & Jay Briscoe
After the match BJ Whitmer and Steve Corino had another altercation.

Adam Cole & reDRagon vs. Jay Lethal & the Addiction w/Taeler Hendrix’s breasts
There was a really funny pump-handle spot towards the beginning of this match. The rest of the match was really good. Everyone worked really well together.
Winners: Adam Cole & reDRagon
____________________________________________________________________________
DVD bonus features:
P-Dog w/his entourage vs. Slim J
Once this got passed P-Dogs rapping it was a decent match.
Winner: P-Dog

Post show recap with Kevin Kelly and Steve Corino
____________________________________________________________________________
It’s strange because there weren’t any five-star matches on this show but I still really liked this one. All the performers brought their A-Games and everything was firing on all cylinders. And the pacing was just right. They fit a lot into just under three hours and nothing had the time to drag. So even though it was lacking that one “must see” match this was a really enjoyable show and I recommend checking it out.

Re: Official ROH Discussion Thread

Well, I'm on board with Taven vs Cobb & Taylor vs Bandido.

The Briscoes vs Colt Cabana & Nick Aldis added to Best in the World, too.

You suck the blood of the afflicted.

Re: Official ROH Discussion Thread

If it actually is wrestled under the original Pure Rules and both of them are forced to use all three rope breaks and we get a submission finish in the ropes like Lethal vs Spanky.

You suck the blood of the afflicted.

I’m all for Pure Rules. I’ve enjoyed the matches I’ve seen that were under them.

Re: Official ROH Discussion Thread

Honestly the BITW card doesn't do much for me as a big time PPV card but I haven't watched any ROH since the G1 Supercard so maybe there's more build to it than what meets the eye.

This however is something to look forward to next month:
