This to me is a sign that WWE is super high on her. She's in between Alexa and Charlotte. I feel like the rocket is about to be strapped to her back.

Carmella and Nattie, ugh. Nothing agaisnt them but they aren't exactly the cream of the crop, plenty of better talents should be on that poster. Asuka and Sasha being two.

I think the right three people are on the poster for NXT, Io is by far the best wrestler from any of the women, for me she's the best thing on NXT. Rhea got a ton of star potential, still a little green but she's a badass character. Shayna is a good heel, a bit overused and needs out of NXT badly imo but she's a talent.

I think Bianca is the best pure WWE talent since she had no prior wrestling experience. Rhea came from the Aussie Indies.

And I'm not surprised who isn't on there at all.....typical.

I can't see Rhea going anywhere, though. Vince doesn't like Australians - the fact that he wouldn't push Emma or Peyton speaks to this, and the metal look will make her significantly less attractive to Vince than her old look. She's tall, so that'll help her, but I don't know. It certainly hasn't helped Lacey Evans any.
Emma's initial gimmick put her in perpetual failure territory and her repackacking was too little, too late. Peyton is half of a comedy jobber tag team. Rhea has super solo star appeal due to the way she carries herself, along with her look & height. The only thing holding Lacey back is Lacey. They clearly wanted to push her, but she's trash. You can't be completely talentless because you're blonde with big tits. That just gets you looked at first.

You can't have a poster talking about the best women's roster and not include Asuka and Sasha Banks. I'll never understand why they have been so high on Natalya for this long. Several years ago when the women's roster was trash she stood out but nowadays she isn't even that great in the ring compared to most women and she has ZERO star power. Sasha and Asuka are more talented than Carmella and Natalya by miles.

Ripley is something different. She's hot in a hard-to-define way, she can work, she looks like a legit badass, she's tall without coming off like a hoss, she can talk, she's got a great presence and charisma and the accent...I think she's what WWE wants Charlotte to be.

Just a shame for WWE that Charlotte only fills one of your criteria. I've underlined it just in case anyone wasn't sure which one.

Have there actually been enough overlooked Australians in WWE for there to be a "Vince doesn't like Australians" narrative though?

Emma - I think she's absolutely gorgeous, but is there enough about her beyond that to justify a top spot? Not so much. The Evil Emma character was cooler than the dancing goon character but it was pretty damn one dimensional. Sexier outfit, sunglasses, and some gloves. Yay

Peyton - See previous answer. She's also incredibly divisive. Some people like the characters that her and Billie play, others think they are annoying and irritating (which is sort of the point). Would be interested to see if she can mix it up in the future though.

This doesn't say a whole lot, but I do agree with the sentiment. I've been saying it since she totally reinvented herself in the MYC last year and her STAR performance in the women's Rumble this year cemented it. She's the best female prospect they have right now and one of the best prospects overall. Not on Dream's level but still very high.

If they don't have Rhea DESTROY that boring bitch at the January TakeOver, Triple H has completely lost his mind.

who knows with wwe

she could be built up for a month or two and then forgotten about. would be cool to see a new star in womens division though

She's the future. Until Vince gets a load of Scarlett that is. We know blonds trump badass. Unless the crowd demands it like with Becky.

After seeing Asuka job to nattie clean I gotta say enjoy rhea while you can. Cause pretty soon she will be eating more roll ups from pretty girls than a fat kid consumes in an afternoon

Bret Hart is the last non-Hispanic foreigner anybody remembers who got booked to do anything really noteworthy. On the women's side it'd be another Canadian, right? Trish Stratus? So any time I am excited for a wrestler, I check to see where he or she is from in WWE, and if ain't America or Mexico...

Sorry about your damn luck!
