What the hell is work-rate?

Why don't you address WCWs attendance in 2000-01 with Goldberg in or around mainevent scene constantly.

How come NXT Takeovers in 2019 have drawn more people than Halloween Havoc or Starrcade 2000?

Yes because wrestling fans were so sophisticated in the 90s. Calling people loners because they like something you don't just makes you come across terribly.

NXT shows on their own have drawn better than Goldberg ppvs in 2000-01.

There was no major WWE ppv the weekend of 25 and it drew full house

1) Those house shows sold off the Goldberg vs Nash feud. It's likely that people wanted to see Goldberg take revenge. WCW's ratings in January of 1999 were actually very strong.

2)Goldberg drew across America from 1998 to the spring of 1999. He also headlined WM20, which did an incredible domestic buyrate. Despite poor booking, Unforgiven 2003 and Survivor Series 2003 also drew very strong buyrates for the standards of the time.

3) One example. And no attendance figure was actually released for that show. It likely only drew around 8K fans. NXT draws pitiful crowds to their house shows most of the time. They usually only draw when they are twinned with a WWE PPV. Again, they appeal to a very niche and geeky audience. I'm not sure why that's so offensive.

Probably not a good idea to clown the brand directly competing with the biggest threat to WWE in 20 years. Bad marketing approach imo.

"Hey, boss, you know the brand we're running directly against the greatest threat and competition we've faced in twenty years? Well, one of our stars, that knuckle-dragging, self-concussing, beef-witted buffoon Goldberg just said that nobody on that brand means shit and that Raw and Smackdown are all that matter."

Now did he have the background of a guy like say Bret Hart who's arsenal of moves was virtually limitless? No, but I honestly refuse to believe that if given the opportunity he could have integrated his mixed martial arts background into his arsenal of moves. And let's be perfectly honest, guys like Roman Reigns, John Cena, etc. are very limited in their in-ring arsenal as well, but I wouldn't go as far as to say they are talentless.

FWIW I find the answer to his first question rather telling. I think he already has another match lined up with WWE; maybe in Saudi Arabia? Either another 1-on-1 with Dolph or maybe as a member of Team Hogan where Ziggler is a member of Team Flair? I don't think his response to that question would have been as such unless there was something already planned out.
1; Goldberg was not really involved in MMA until 2002. He had a tiny bit of MMA training while recovering from his football injury, but from what I heard, he wasn't trained enough to actually start fighting before he met Sting and Luger and joined WCW. He never fought a single fight pro or amateur.

2; Reigns can actually carry himself in the ring a little bit now. He's getting to be like Cena...unable to carry others, but able to carry himself enough to look strong. Goldberg couldn't even carry HIS OWN weight in matches. Unless it was a squash match with him not actually have to do any work he couldn't cut it.

Man fuck Goldberg and his no talent ass.
Brett Hart, Daniel Bryan and AJ would need a miracle to get a decent match out of that guy. Stay retired Bill

Reigns and Cena look like Hart and HBK compared to Goldberg
