UNDERTAKER, Great Khali and Braun Strowman are all monsters that have dominated WWE in recent times… but now there is a new giant in town who is even taller than the Big Show.

The company’s NXT developmental brand handed a debut to the humongous Jordan Omogbehin, 25, on Thursday.

And the 7ft 3in colossus made quite the impression as he dominated TWO OPPONENTS on his winning bow.

Flanked by his manager Stokely Hathaway, recently renamed Courtenay Moore, the former University of South Florida and Morgan State basketball player defeated tag-team Team 3.0 at a non-televised live event in Lakeland, Florida.

Omogbehin was born in Lagos, Nigeria but played high school basketball in the States after moving to Virginia.

After quitting the court, the towering behemoth was snapped up by NXT founder and wrestling legend Triple H for WWE nine months ago.

He has been honing his skills at the WWE Performance Centre in Florida ever since and was finally handed an opportunity to impress in front of a crowd.

And after his impressive display, and the smooth-talking of Hathaway to help progress his character, it won’t be long until his presence will be felt around the world with a TV appearance.

Despite his towering frame, Omogbehin is still only THIRD on the all-time list of tallest WWE superstars.

Giant Gonzalez, real name Jorge Gonzalez and who had spells in both WCW and WWE, tops the list.

The icon, who died in 2010 aged 44, stood a ginormous EIGHT FEET TALL!

I saw the few highlights for this guy on instagram. WWE needs big attractions like this so I'm all for it. But he's clearly very very green (he was literally standing there while the opponents charged at him, and he seemed lost when trying to slam a guy doing a scoop slam), but he's still very young, I hope WWE can be patient with him. No, I don't want to see him in the 2020 Rumble, not yet.

Re: WWE's 7ft 3in Giant Jordan Omogbehin

yeah, not bothered about his height. Its a shock element, they show up, you think "wow" and thats the end of that.

Same happened with khali, once that initial appearance is done, it became hugely evident that he couldnt actually do anything because he was simply too tall and not mobile enough.

I would assume this guy being this height will only offer the same problems tbh. I'm sure vince will want to give him some kind of monster heel run at some time or another but I highly doubt he will amount to more than that. Specially since vince will probably call him up too soon much like what happened with braun.

he will end up with a dancing gimmick or some other worthless role after the initial run and will stay that way until gets released.

"I remember how you used to shine back then, you went down so easy like a glass of wine my friend, when the dawn came up you felt so inspired to do it again but it turns out you only get to do it once."

You can't give me a reason, I don't need one to shine, You can't give me a feeling 'cause it's already mine

If he ever makes the main roster, he'll probably get a monster push then start teaming with a cruiserweight till his inevitable release.

The usual then. Monster undefeated, loses once, loses a few times within a few times, becomes goof babyface, get released.

Thing about it is how many really tall guys have been successful in pro wrestling last 30 years.

Silo Sam, yeti Ron reis, Kurrgan, giant Silva, Jackson Andrews, Eli cottonwood, Nathan Jones all flopped while Gonzales, Matt Morgan had moderate success.

Problem is once you get to certain height you are labeled a freakshow basically and it's hard to break that mould.

wrestlingforum.com people won't like him because he can't do super kicks.

His got an intimidating look. Unlike Khali who though huge has a very docile look about him. Given that his a former athlete I'm guessing he moves better as well

big cass / jackson andrews / matt morgan / shad gaspard all over again. being tall =/= big star. lets see him perform before saying how big a star he'll be.
