Probably Mark Andrews.

I'd leave it a mystery partner and try to bring in somebody new.

Again, I'm not going to act like NXT UK is a hot show. But this felt like a hot angle. Walter and company absolutely destroying people and seeing the pain that not only Bate was going through, but the pain in Seven watching his friend being destroyed and being powerless to stop it. It' something that doesn't turn the show around for me, but it is something that makes me go "that's good stuff, and I want to see what happens next."
Sorry for not quoting the whole post. But, you mentioned something in the above I wanted to bring out.

^That right there is one of the keys to NXT's success IMO, be it US or UK. Yes, NXT UK is still finding it's footing. Honestly, NXT US is now working to regain its footing after the recent call-ups. But the key to both is they are capable of coming up with story-lines backed up by actions that make you want to tune in next week to see what happens.

NXT tends to leave you wanting more and you want to see what will happen next.
The main roster gives you too much of the same 'ol, same ol and people have stopped caring what will happen next.

Well, I wouldn't give NXT UK that much credit yet.

NXT US, through it's ups and downs, has found a way even with all the talent to add depth, nuance, and unique qualities for their talent. So even through the down times, they still keep me invested. NXT UK hasn't been able to do that. For the most part it's been basic storytelling, rather dull in execution.

I dont think Walter 'allowed' it to get stamped on, as the crowd were laughing, cheering and engouraging it! Besides at least that naughty indie wrestler didnt ask Page what the best way to desicrate an NXT belt was
