Should NXT Takeover's held before the big 5, tie into their respective ppv's the following night?

Should the Takeover's the night before the big 5, tie into their respective P.P.V.'s the following night??

For instance, maybe have a Battle Royal in January, with the winner receiving a spot the next night in the Rumble??

During WrestleMania's Takeover, well to be honest this one usually has the loser of the Championship match called up to the main roster, same as Summerslam.

For their M.I.T.B. rendition , have a Ladder Match with 6-10 potential call ups, and have Triple H., at the end of the show, have the winner sign a main roster contract.

Lately, they've had a War Games theme in November, this somewhat ties into Survivor Series.

I fell like it would be a great idea, and really tie into the quadruple header ( Takeover, Main show, Raw, and finally Smackdown).

Agree I like it. Better then them just randomly calling people up! And they get there on a high note. Besides the latest call ups, most of the other guys go up on a loss.

Well, they already do. And, OP you listed all the examples of the last few shows doing it.

For your question, winner of a battle royale gets into the Rumble, I like the idea but also prefer the surprise entries (preferably 2-3). I'd be OK with either, but personally like the surprise.

Well that would be a good way to get their audiences to check out both events, so something like that wouldn't be a bad idea.

if there are already two rumble matches on the Sunday, I don't really want to watch a third (or a battle royal) the night before.
